Jimmy Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 This. People have very short memories. I get what they're saying though, they're tired of limited players. But we have limited players now, Beckford included. But some of them are worse than your Waghorns and your Howards (or the versions of those players that got us into the play-offs anyway) because of their attitude. The stats don't lie, the team of 2010 may not have been that good but it was a lot more successful than this pile of wank. The group of players is only marginally better now but the team spirit is a lot worse. the problem is some of those players are still here, as central figures and they weren't good enough then and are worse players now
Super_horns Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 He did quite well at Everton scoring wise but Moyes was more than happy to sell him..which says something.
buzzy Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 to the beckford haters shut **** up . blame pearson and fat bastard shakespear they have not got a clue how to handle the big name players and never will. what the **** does shakespear bring to leicester city apart from eating all the pies and pasties but that might stop know because of this new tax. beckford surely has a future with this club if we want to succeed not get rid . what players can they attract to leicester if you get rid of the better players and who the hell would want to come with these 2 in charge
Grewks Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 sinclair was not starting today becuase tyrone barnett (on loan from crawley) has scored a few sub appearance goals so they decided to give him a go. Being a sub means your a bad player??

I think the advantage the play off team had was the fact they were champions of Leauge one and were playing with high confidence and minimal pressure. The current side is the complete opposite.

LcFc_Smiv Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 Beckford can go, I couldn't care less and I stood among hundreds of other City fans today who felt the same way, deserves all the sh*t he gets today!
Kitchandro Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 the problem is some of those players are still here, as central figures and they weren't good enough then and are worse players now Yes I know, I agree. We need to replace these players with better ones, that's how the squad develops. But very important is the team spirit.

Because they aren't really doing the job, are they?
Happy Fox Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 Yes I know, I agree. We need to replace these players with better ones, that's how the squad develops. But very important is the team spirit. If you say any of these players Kasper, Konchesky, Danns, Beckford, Nugent, St Ledger, Marshall, Drinkwater and Morgan. Then I despair I really do. For peeps wanting Beckford out you will probably be salivating over the return of Steve Howard. Back Beckford please....
Kitchandro Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 I think the advantage the play off team had was the fact they were champions of Leauge one and were playing with high confidence and minimal pressure. The current side is the complete opposite. So mentally we aren't good enough. We shouldn't be crap just because we didn't win league one last season. There is no actual physical benefit from winning league one compared a team who finished 10th in the Championship. The point is we had a team spirit and a confidence then, with very few poisonous characters, and those that were were removed. And the stats proved them to be good decisions.
Corky Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 sinclair was not starting today becuase tyrone barnett (on loan from crawley) has scored a few sub appearance goals so they decided to give him a go. Being a sub means your a bad player?? No it doesn't, but I'm surprised Sinclair, who has just come from League Two, is better than Beckford, who was in the Premiership last season, based on one full game you've seen.

Then I despair I really do. For peeps wanting Beckford out you will probably be salivating over the return of Steve Howard. Back Beckford please.... No I mean more Dyer, Peltier, Wellens, Bamba (as a midfielder). And anyone who is disrupting the dressing room. We need to defend properly and we need to create real chances. We need to buy players who will serve these purposes. Some of the ones on the pitch today do not.

nothin2seehere Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 Classic foxestalk, last week he scores 2 and is a hero and now he's a scumbag because he has a bit of passion This. Was going to read the rest of the thread, but nothing comes closer to the truth ^^.
causer7 Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 Can someone sum up what has actually happened between beckford and pearson? First I have heard of this.
cc_star Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 the problem is some of those players are still here, as central figures and they weren't good enough then and are worse players now Sven replaced them but then when that didn't work out as planned he brought them back in too, except they'd lost their togetherness & spirit which was the thing that collectively got them higher up the league than Sven & now Pearson mkII have managed. Pearson's also replaced some of them too in Marshall & Drinky & at 20yo we're yet to see that pan out Roll on summer
Grewks Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 Can someone sum up what has actually happened between beckford and pearson? First I have heard of this. Pearson refused him entry onto the coach on the way home. He is still in Peterboro
