cc_star Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 Pearson refused him entry onto the coach on the way home. He is still in Peterboro Is this a joke or known to be fact or just Chinese whispers like the Mills thread.
Corky Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 it is called a joke......you have the same brain functional ability as beckford? Oh right. Ha.
inckley fox Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 If you say any of these players Kasper, Konchesky, Danns, Beckford, Nugent, St Ledger, Marshall, Drinkwater and Morgan. Then I despair I really do. For peeps wanting Beckford out you will probably be salivating over the return of Steve Howard. Back Beckford please.... I can't quite get over how dim you are. You have named almost the entire squad, which has comprehensively failed to perform under Sven and Pearson (both of which you backed, until we were in the bottom half of the table), and said that they are all beyond reproach. Even though they have failed to perform under two different managers, Yet Pearson IS responsible. If, some day soon, some idiot decides it's time to appoint our 4th manager in two seasons, then the voices of morons like you will have been responsible for fixing that final nail in the coffin of this football club. Clearly you're either fundamentally unwell or unaware of what has happened to this club since O'Neill left. And before he came. I don't post a great deal but I take great interest in this forum. And you stand out, big and proud, as the most fickle prat of the lot of them. And there are a lot of them. Please. Shut up.
Grewks Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 Although it would have been funny if he did leave him there......knowing Jermaine it would be unlikeley that he would have the ability to return for the doncaster game

Clearly you're either fundamentally unwell or unaware of what has happened to this club since O'Neill left. And before he came. My conscious is crystal clear we have been shit in this past decade I don't particular like to think about it as it too depressing. I don't post a great deal but I take great interest in this forum. L4EV Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 Classic foxestalk, last week he scores 2 and is a hero and now he's a scumbag because he has a bit of passion
Kitchandro Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 wonder if he'll be "injured" next week Are those gangster inverted commas? 'Jermaine Beckford is out as his knee caps have been 'misplaced'. We 'won't be seein him no more' Meanwhile Matt Mills is 'sleeping with the fishes'
Grewks Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 a bit of passion? Two yard open goal tap in....but is lazy to move his body to score. It is this passion my friend which many on here mistake for arrogance. ffs he doesnt even run/jump.
cambridgefox Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 im sure most of you just post to wind me up,and thats why i mainly stick to general chat, when Beckford was drifting wide on the left the last 10 mins he was causing more problems than Dyer. The service was shocking and at least he gave a shit to track back and feel strongly about it to have a strop.Agreed his near post non effort wasnt good enough but there was plenty of shit out there, but lets JUST slag Beckford off because we are sheep BAAAA
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 BECKFORD AINT NO GOOD WE SHOULDVE BOUGHT ON BIG FRANKIE

Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 So mentally we aren't good enough. We shouldn't be crap just because we didn't win league one last season. There is no actual physical benefit from winning league one compared a team who finished 10th in the Championship. The point is we had a team spirit and a confidence then, with very few poisonous characters, and those that were were removed. And the stats proved them to be good decisions. I think there is a benefit of getting promoted wether it's champions or not yes. Have a look at Brighton, Southampton, Norwich etc
Bert Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 Think this has been blown way out if proportion. Why isn't Beckford allowed to be pissed off that others aren't trying, after he's busted his gut? Yet when Beckford is accused of not trying he's every name under the sun. He's had better games for us and should never have bottled the back post chance.
Salieri Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 Finners nailed it way back in the thread, the change of formation was a poor move and has had a negative impact on Beckford and the teams performance as a whole. Danns sending off (and subsequent suspension) against Dull didn't help mind, the twat.
danfox76 Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 Can someone sum up what has actually happened between beckford and pearson? First I have heard of this. i missed the game and would also like to know what happened
Bert Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 i missed the game and would also like to know what happened Basically Beckford sprinted all the way back to help defend, we gained possession and with Schmeical's big kick we won a free kick. For some reason Beckford stayed in the centre circle for the free kick. The free kick was direct and the last kick of the game. According to some people, radio commentary claimed he was refusing to go up. Now of course this could be true, and that's what people are moaning at - but can anyone say what actually went on? I doubt it. All we know is Beckford stayed at halfway line and the free kick was awful.
inckley fox Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 I said this recently; that we'd be comfortably in the play-offs had we averaged the points we've won under a 4-4-2 all season. We average 0.75 per game in the twelve games we've played with a 4-3-3, and our goals scored record in those games is pathetic. That compares to 1.6+ with 4-4-2 (or 4-1-2-1-2). I'm quite disappointed with Pearson for not seeing this, in spite of the Hull game. 4-3-3 has been one of many significant factors in ****ing our season up.

With the available players 4-4-2 was not a realistic option if, Wellens and King weren't fit enough to start and like me you wouldn't trust Bamba in a two man central midfield.

I wonder if he should have thought about that before sending Fernandes packing and Moussa out on loan and terminating Oakley's contract?

Mark_w Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 I wonder if he should have thought about that before sending Fernandes packing and Moussa out on loan and terminating Oakley's contract? Fernandes was no doubt on ridiculous wages, if people where complaining about the 'Old guard' playing already imagine the reaction to Oakley starting and with four I doubt he expected three central midfielders to be out simultaneously. People expect too much of us, we don't have a right to win every game, but people got sucked into what was happening pre-season and believing we'd go up automatically, we don't have a great side and people need to accept that no manager is going to get this group of players promoted seeing as two good managers have tried already.
