Beckfords last game?

I wonder if he should have thought about that before sending Fernandes packing and Moussa out on loan and terminating Oakley's contract?

Pearson had no control whether Fernandes stayed or went, he was only here for Sven. Do you really think Moussa would be good enough and Oakley fit enough to play? Persuading Yuki to stay for the season may have been an option

im sure most of you just post to wind me up,,but lets JUST slag Beckford off because we are sheep BAAAA

I can see where your coming from, so many posts on this forum drive me crazy to the extent where i force myself not to come on hear for days/weeks to get away from it. Everything i read seems to wind me up, such as giant flags not being allowed to be passed round the fans at home due to f****** health and safety b******* or mainly Kevin Barclay!. I'm fed up of the people that moan that people stand and fed up of those who sit (at times there made to) and those who dont sing yet willing to raise there voice when were S***.

As for Beckford personally i have not liked him since the Leeds game when he ignored our fans and couldn't wait to get over to the Leeds fans and after today kind of sums it up for me.

Right i'd love to troll through all the posts but i quite frankly can't be assed... So simple question, what the hell has JB done??

Me neither. As far as I am concerned he is one of our better players. Maybe why he gets so much attention on FT. On a completely unrelated note - what happened to Matt Mills?

with a chance to equalise in the dieing seconds he decided to stand on the halfway line whilst pearson was surrounded with feathers of how he was flapping so much at beckford to get forward for the free kick, the free kick came to nothing (what a suprise) at the same time bamba confronted him i guess with his lack of lets give a flying f*** attiude

im sure most of you just post to wind me up,and thats why i mainly stick to general chat, when Beckford was drifting wide on the left the last 10 mins he was causing more problems than Dyer. The service was shocking and at least he gave a shit to track back and feel strongly about it to have a strop.Agreed his near post non effort wasnt good enough but there was plenty of shit out there, but lets JUST slag Beckford off because we are sheep BAAAA

There are only 5 players in the squad who are good enough to make a top 6 challenge.

Beckford is one of them.

Did you make the sign for this thread or do you use it a lot? sorry if I started this thread about something that happened today at a Leicester game. Next time perhaps I will start a thread about knitting !

Is this a joke or known to be fact or just Chinese whispers like the Mills thread.

It's ok mate he does tend to post that when he has nothing gainful to say ( which is often )

lol so we finally play the guy in to form, let him settle, let him strike up a partnership with his strike partner at the club...

... then we change the formation, make him play up on his own, cut his service back down again, turn his co-striker into an out of position winger and then... blame him for suffering?

I'm not going to start screaming for Pearson to be sacked but if people can't accept that he's shown some serious tactical naivety over the last few weeks then they're being insanely blinkered.

Got to agree with this post.

On the Pearson v Sven debate, I thought Sven was sacked too early, but as he had gone I was happy with pearsons appointment, now I think we need stability for a complete season in the dugout, although I agree some of his tactics of late seem strange

Morgan was playing centre forward (great tactic lol), Beckford tracked back as no one was back apart from Bamba, and had a strop about it. Kasper booted the ball forward and we won a free kick, Bamba and Beckford were still only two players in defence and I think he was saying to Bamba/Pearson there was no point going forward and in the end their wasn't as Drinkwater blazed over and the final whistle went. All blown out of proportion, what about Nugents reaction that could have got a red?

Have posted this numerous times, this is exactly what happened. Obviously I wasn't up close to hear the entire conversation but that's what happened from a distance. :glare:

So this is because of a corner or something?

From what I can tell we were playing the classic 1-1-9 formation for the final few minutes, and Beckford was generally lurking around midfield thinking 'what the **** are we doing and why has Wes Morgan been my strike partner for the last 10 minutes?', when Kasper and Nigel started shouting at him to get up front.

Jermaine was signalling saying 'what's the point', probably thinking 'we've got 30 seconds left of the game, I'm the only person in defence and what's the point in us embarrassing ourselves further by going from the 'broomstick' formation to the 'downright desperate' formation. We're never going to score, we haven't all game, and even if we do we're never going to get to the playoffs because next game you're going to play me up front by myself again, sorry I mean as part of a three (?!))

Appreciate the fans and Kasper were trying to get the players pumped up and into it for the last few minutes, but I was feeling like Beckford a long time before he did in that match.

and he'd just ran 80 yards to cover and didn't track back up for a last minuet direct free kick, which he was never going to take himself

So essentially, Beckford did fvck all wrong, making this thread completely pointless. SCAPEGOAT FOR APRIL 1st 2012 = No. 20 Jermaine Beckford. Join us next Sunday to find out who is next on LCFC fans list.

NP said that we don't have the quality upfront to put away all the chances that we are creating.

I think it's a little more than not running up at the end of a game.

then maybe Nigel should of thought about that before playing 1 upfront

What's with the tiny font size?

I'm not excusing Nigel's tactics. I think he is a poor offensive tactician exemplified by his set pieces. That doesn't excuse Beckford's lack of "consistent" quality though. It doesn't have to be one or the other Jimmy - it can be BOTH.

What's with the tiny font size?

sorry that happens to me a lot along with underlining. Must be lost in translation.
