Ken Bates "offered Beckford twice this season"

It wouldn't surprise me he's not the sort of player Pearson would go for.

Yet he's picked him all the time after initially bringing him on as sub or subbing him... he really seems to have worked with him to get his head in the game and they celebrate Beckford's goals together in a way that suggest they get on really well.

I can see Beckford leaving though, his wages could be a barrier to brining a couple of other players in should FFP hinder that.

And who are Leeds playing this weekend?

Nothing more than pathetic mind games. (typed before seeing the post above)

Once he heard of the wages Beckford would want to even think about a move back, he'd probably run a mile!

I don't think Pearson has a problem with Beckford if he wanted to offload him it would be because of his wages and not because of his performance this season

Bit of a daft thing for bates to say about wanting to move forward because if i was beckford i'd want to try and score a hattrick and show him how leeds have moved forward..

As Leeds don't even have the money to retain their own players I very much doubt they would ever have even considered signing JB, Leicester would know that too.

I bet he's been offered a punch in the face considerably more frequently than that this season

This was doing the rounds during the January window,it's not even news.

Looks like one of those late night Channel 4 programs I watch when I'm pissed

Yes but do you think Yoko a nicer looking mountain?

It certainly wouldn't surprise me if Beckford was touted around a bit in the January window seeing as he will be on decent wages and wasn't really performing, it's clear the wage bill had to be cut.

It wouldn't be NP phoning up bates it would be some one like Neville just testing the water, probably based on the fact he was linked with Leeds before we signed him. I wouldn't doubt that these kind of conversations go on all the time between football clubs, but most people have the class not to bring it up in the press.
