I was mocking the lack of assists other members of our team have not praising him for it. His season was not great... but it also wasnt as bad as some on here make it out to be. He will improve next year im 100% sure of that (Should he stay)

I wouldnt be surprised if he had the most in our team haha I know he went through a spell of setting Nugent up every week. But again the haters will ignore that contribution and just look at the fact he wasnt scoring every 5 minutes. On their day Nuge and Beckford are the best strike force in the division and every other team would kill to have them, but our fans wont be happy till we replace him with a Hume (no offence to him, great servant) Right, ok.

Just pointing out how stupid you look telling someone they need to make comments based on fact whilst making one up to suit your argument. Im not Beckfords biggest fan and wont be overly upset if he leaves but I would like to see him given another chance. I agree entirely with Happy Foxs posts Again this is the bit I don't get... Given the stats, and many many posts that people have made indicating Beckfords weaknesses.. Why would you give him a second chance? It's simply not enough to suggest that he will be 'a twenty league goal a season striker' when he wasn't that last season. Why will he suddenly go from 7 to 20? He could do... But why? And his all round game was of detriment to the team per se... Because he cannot hold the ball up. I'd love the bloody man to prove me wrong. I'm first and foremost a City fan. But I don't want to start another season with the same strike pairing that DID NOT gel last term. Fact. However, and finally, if Nige feels that his best strike partnership next season will be the same two, then fine, let's see and hope for the best.

I saw it with my eyes for 4 years, and apart from 1 in LEAGUE ONE he was shit for us, unfit, overweight and generally poor, if he was 6'2" and black you'd be wanting him out for being garbage (no I'm not calling you a racist before you start), The difference is 1 will (and has) attract prem clubs, the other NEVER has

You've got no argument to come back with to suggest that Beckford is better than Fryatt so you're resorting to the 'race card', it's pathetic.

And as for your point about Pearson bringing him on 'infuriatingly late', why do so many of the Beckford fans think that the Sousa/Sven season is proof that Waghorn is rubbish? But in that case why does his one good season under NP give any proof Waghorn is good . You are also arguing Beckford is shit after just one poor season also .
