No denial that he wants to leave LCFC Yeah it does seem a little strange. His agent stating "been through all that mess before. He only did it because Leeds asked us to so they didn't get hassle for selling". Seems to me that he does NOT want to leave and won't say he does or put in a transfer request and if Pearson or LCFC want rid of him then it's on their backs as he's been stung before by saying it's him when in fact it was the clubs (Leeds) doing?

Surely if Nige didn't like him he would have gone the same way as Matt Mills and not played at all. He was almost an ever present last season. I think that people are jumping to conclusions for no reason whatsoever.

Well you could argue that there was nobody else to fill in for Beckford but I'm with you nobody really knows if Pearson hates Beckford apart from the player and the manager.

He's definitely one of the better players we've had over the last few years. I agree mate. Unfortunately people moan because he's classed as lazy and overpaid. He's a class player that will score alot of goals in this league with the right service. Alot of our fickle fans did it with Yakubu, moaned like hell about him then not long after he'd gone, many wanted him back! Any side, in this league, with the strikers we have, can easily gain promotion.
