While Mobland isn’t quite Lioness, The Gentlemen or Slow Horses in terms of levels it’s still comfortably ahead of the likes of Trigger Point or Gangs of London.

Yeah I was gonna say other than Pierce Brosnan's weird sounding Irish accent, I think Mobland is an enjoyable watch tbf

I just find it too over the top. It's entertaining in a ridiculous way though I guess

Monster The Lizzie Borden story.

A decent watch i thought. Although i have read some scathing reviews. Based on a true story, but with a lot of hollywood glamour added.

I thought the actress who played Lizzie did a great job ... 7/10 for me

Silo season 3 was excellent. A lot of shows have a great first series and then go to shit (House of Dragon and Severance). Silo season 1 was good, 2 decent, and 3 excellent.

Yeah it gets better with every series. Really excited for the final season that comes out next year.

They absolutely smashed this season.

(As they did with Severance S2 IMO)

A little late to the game but I've just finished season 3 of House of the Dragon.

Bloody hell, Rhaenyra really has gone off the deep end and into Lake Baikal, hasn't she?

It started well but fell away, I think it could have been wrapped up in 4 or 5 episodes rather than 8.

Watched the first episode of The Wargame last night on Sky.

It's essentially a constructed training exercise designed to test current and former politicians with the question of "what happens to the UK if Russia attacks and NATO ignores our call for help?"

Very over the top and it feels unrealistic in a way but it's genuinely interesting. The unrealistic parts do still make you think "but what if??"

Watched the first two episodes of the new Mobland series. Utter shite lol

The formula for these peaky blinders rip off shows seems to be

Fontaine's Song + Eccentric lunatics + excessive swearing + Ridiculous gun fights

TV made for the live, laugh, love brigade

Obviously will be watching episode 3 lol

I really enjoy Mobland.

Don't have to really pay attention to follow along and the setting is genuinely great.

Love how over the top it is. Definitely not a programme to be taken seriously. Perfect Friday night tele.

Yeah I get that.

I think The Soprano's has ruined every other show for me now and turned me into a series snob.

I think it's Helen Mirren's character that puts me off as well. But like I said, I'm a hypocrite as I'll still be watching it lol

Yeah don't get me wrong I know it's not exactly a high IQ programme and it's an objectively worse version of The Gentleman but it's just fun.

I did find the very ending of the last episode objectively stupid though. I get the Harrigans doing stupid stuff because they're completely mental but

they said that Freddie would be searched prior to the meeting yet he's somehow waltzed in with a bomb in his helmet?
