Corky Posted 3 February 2013 Posted 3 February 2013 oh , you're serious. Yesterday blew our chances of top six - the main thing for me is we're nowhere near ready , we had a nice run that made us think it was possible but we were terrible (I meant to end that with fair play Wednesday and congratulations but was disgusted with our performance that much I forgot) We've been outplayed completely four times this season * against you lot * against the scum from Selhurst park * against Watford down here * Yesterday and all four times we were allowed to be bullied off the ball , the nice tippy tappy style is all well and good against some teams but the lack of plan B scares me. I was serious. If you had a good run from now, taking points from Hull next week then it could still have been a possiblity. I wouldn't rule you out for top six, Middlesbrough looked good at us but are falling away right now.
Lamby Posted 5 February 2013 Posted 5 February 2013 http://www.yourlocalguardian.co.uk/news/local/croydonnews/10205272._/ That report is soo wrong
AdamN Posted 5 February 2013 Posted 5 February 2013 http://www.yourlocal...ews/10205272._/ That report is soo wrong About 3,000 Charlton supporters Terrible journalism.
LcFc_Smiv Posted 5 February 2013 Posted 5 February 2013 Awaiting a Leicesterpool poll, Forest and Mcleish part company.

I wouldn't rule you out for top six, Middlesbrough looked good at us but are falling away right now. That's it though - the qualifier "If" - we're too inconsistent. Hull do well against us normally , throw in the fact we have a telly jinx , and our last five games at home (You lot , Charlton, Palace , Blackpool, Wolves) are tough , I'd take 7th/8th and a big clear out in the summer but realistically I reckon another mid table finish.
Soar Fox Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 http://www.yourlocalguardian.co.uk/news/local/croydonnews/10205272._/ That report is soo wrong Looks a decent away end to be fair.
SystonFox Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 I don't think we will come even remotely close. I agree we will be mid-table, and in my opinion it will be lower mid-table at that, however if we were to keep up the winning percentage that we are on at the moment then we'll finish around the 70 point mark. That's all I was trying to say. Late 60's pushing 70 points may sneak you around 8-10th so yeah I suppose it would be an exciting last four games thinking you *may* have a chance at sneaking into 6th. Can't believe a Watford fan is worried about them finishing top 6. A few weeks ago leicester fans were worried they'd finish both first and second they're that bloody good

Leicesterpool Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 I've just done my BBC SPORT Predictor and basically I think the current bottom three will remain the bottom three, plus the current top two will remain the top two! Play Offs i've got- Crystal Palace Hull City Watford Burnley

Lamby Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 Looks a decent away end to be fair. 3091, somehow got the 91 in even though we got given 3000
tomc_10 Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 Hey guys I'm a foxes fan new to FT and I had absolutely no idea where to post this but here goes... I'm a third year university student that is in desperate need of participants for my dissertation research. All that is required is the completion of an online questionnaire regarding the reasons why we engage in physical exercise and our general feelings about ourselves. I would really appreciate it if anybody can spare a few minutes to complete my questionnaire as you'd really be helping me out. I'll post a link to it below, thank you in advance. https://lincolnpsych...2tRsxkFEeyLztTD
SystonFox Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 They may get a points deduction that is why they would be worried. Why? How many points? It's news to mee
Super_horns Posted 7 February 2013 Posted 7 February 2013 Why? How many points? It's news to mee http://www.watfordob...ith_misconduct/ Its been reported our local paper cannot give out their front page as usual on Facebook because one of the stories is "embargoed" Probably the verdict then which will be made public tomorrow.. If its 10 points or something then so be it. We'd still be a point outside the top 6 and should have enough quality to gain a space in them. Hopefully they won't do the same as at Luton but this is different and QPR/West Ham just got fined.

The blow there is that you could potentially challenge for second currently, but with a 10 point deduction, that becomes a big (but not impossible) ask.
EcclesallOwl Posted 8 February 2013 Posted 8 February 2013 Connor Wickham joins us on a month loan deal, think he's staying til the end of the season though
goose2010 Posted 8 February 2013 Posted 8 February 2013 Connor Wickham joins us on a month loan deal, think he's staying til the end of the season though great signing for you guys, get him scoring and he could help turn your season around
Super_horns Posted 8 February 2013 Posted 8 February 2013 I presume tonight you want a draw and about 6 red cards/injuries!?
marko Posted 8 February 2013 Posted 8 February 2013 I presume tonight you want a draw and about 6 red cards/injuries!? A nice boring, uninspired, 0-0 draw would be perfect.
ealingfox Posted 8 February 2013 Posted 8 February 2013 I presume tonight you want a draw and about 6 red cards/injuries!? Correct. But without the injuries, I don't like to think I could wish injury on anbody...
damolcfc Posted 8 February 2013 Posted 8 February 2013 It better not be a 0-0.... I got both teams to score on a 100 odd team accumulate (kind of anyway )
