Uncle Phil Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 The horse is in a stable condition. There's nay need for this pun malarkey.
BoneDog Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 Squaring up to a horse And then the next picture down he's lying on the floor with police on his back! It were only going to end up one way. Oh you have to laugh.
Kitchandro Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 Right that's it, I'm not watching a Newcastle v Sunderland game ever again until one of them considers wearing their away kit.
rico Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 Can't believe a Newcastle fan punched a horse . Some payback for all them beef burgers he's been eating
AjcW Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 A great statement released by Newcastle... perhaps people will stop all the stereotypical nonsense now.. "We were embarrassed and appalled by the behaviour of a minority of so-called fans who last night were involved in disturbances and disorder in Newcastle city centre after the match. "Newcastle United have been working with Northumbria Police, and will continue to do so, in order to identify all of the individuals concerned. "The Club will take the strongest possible action against those involved in the disturbances and will impose immediate lifetime bans on all those found guilty. "These deplorable individuals have no place at Newcastle United and bring shame on the Club and the vast majority of its proper, law-abiding, fans."
Jordan Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 NBC Sports has just won the bidding war for the Premier League TV rights in the USA, which means Leicester's own Arlo White is now the voice of English soccer in America.
21st Century Fox Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 NBC Sports has just won the bidding war for the Premier League TV rights in the USA, which means Leicester's own Arlo White is now the voice of English soccer in America. He's a pretty good commentator and a big City fan to boot. Now we just need him to slip in a few mentions for us in his commentary and make us massive over there Q: Seattle Sounders versus Leicester City - whose scarf do you wave in the air? A: My first Leicester City game was in 1978, aged 5. It's been a lifelong love affair. I experience equal emotions with Sounders results these days, because it's so immediate for me. My hope is that the Foxes get into the Premier League and become such a great power that the Sounders will want to play them in a 'glamour' friendly at Qwest Field. That's highly unlikely! Did that answer the question....?

Now we just need him to slip in a few mentions for us in his commentary and make us massive over there He does mention Leicester City every now and then. He had Kasey Keller as his "analyst" (or "expert summariser" if you will) for a season in Seattle before taking the NBC gig, too.
ScouseFox Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 I'm not sure what the best thing about tonight's football so far is. David Luiz scores a screamer from about 40 yards or Andy Carroll nearly killing De Gea. Both spectacular to watch.
Ozwin Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Would anyone but the Fulham lot actually care if they got relegated?

I probably shouldn't have laugh as much as I did but it was hilarious!

foxfanazer Posted 18 April 2013 Posted 18 April 2013 Seen him have a few decent shots in the past.. Yeah he hits the ball really weird. Have u seen his free kicks? He slaps the ball with the inside of his foot but the power and dip he gets is unreal. I really don't think he should be a centre back, defensive mid maybe?
Super_horns Posted 18 April 2013 Posted 18 April 2013 There are a few top free kick takers these days due to the change of techquie.
Corky Posted 19 April 2013 Posted 19 April 2013 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22216746 PFA Nominations are out. Very surprised that Michu is not listed.
ScouseFox Posted 19 April 2013 Posted 19 April 2013 Jack Wilshire is nominated for Young Player. Hasn't he missed about 90% of the season injured? Either that or he's been so shit I haven't even noticed he's been playing. How does he warrant a nomination? Also no Baines. Really? Michael Carrick? Really?

I can understand Carrick, underrated by many, but Baines should be there. I can't see why players would be in both categories, just wastes places for me.
bmt Posted 19 April 2013 Posted 19 April 2013 Do young players winning the main award tend to win the young one aswell? If so surely it has to be Bale/Bale. Surprised no Michu and Baines as listed above. Mata and Suarez both deserve mentions too, but Bale has become a player that could get into any team in the world this season, and seen by some as in the top 5 players worldwide.
Father Ted Posted 19 April 2013 Posted 19 April 2013 Santi Cazorla > Mata/Hazard/Carrick. And no Nastasic in the Young Player award... ridiculous
Haydos Posted 19 April 2013 Posted 19 April 2013 Santi Cazorla > Mata/Hazard/Carrick. You must be joking? Carrick's a different player but he's had a great season. I'd say Cazorla and Hazard have been on a level but Mata beats them all.
Darkon84 Posted 19 April 2013 Posted 19 April 2013 Wilshire is overrated. Good to see Carrick getting some recognition FINALLY

It doesn't, half the time he's moaning to the ref, the other half he spends rolling about on the floor (injury aside).
