Ford Super Sunday Posted 24 June 2012 Posted 24 June 2012 If we lose 4-0 but play with some desire, some ambition and show some tiny amount of passion I would, as opposed to losing 1 or 2-0 to in the cowardly way France did last night.
whoareyaaa Posted 24 June 2012 Posted 24 June 2012 I hate how the press have keep banging on about peno's they even ask every player in their interviews which isn't very encourging. Can't see us winning this tbh think Italy will have too much in the end. although if Rooney is on top of his game along with Terry, Gerrard and Hart then we could win this 2-0.
Tielemans63 Posted 24 June 2012 Posted 24 June 2012 We need Rooney, Milner & particularly Ashley Young to turn up if we're going to win this one. The two wingers have been poor so far IMHO.
Super_horns Posted 24 June 2012 Posted 24 June 2012 Yes..Young has been lucky to keep his place. Hodgson likes Milner for his defensive cover.
purpleronnie Posted 24 June 2012 Posted 24 June 2012 I really can't see what everyone is worried about. Because its england it we always end up dissapointed.
Jon the Hat Posted 24 June 2012 Posted 24 June 2012 We can win this one, but if we dont it is no disgrace. I would really love to see Gerrard and Rooney in particular stand up and show the world the class they have undoubtedly got.
MikeyT Posted 24 June 2012 Posted 24 June 2012 If we lose then so be it. As long as we fight for everything and play with some passion then that's all we can ask for. It's winnable of course, but will be tough.
MooseBreath Posted 24 June 2012 Posted 24 June 2012 If these were two club sides and this was a champions league match i'd really fancy our chances, but as it's England we will probably struggle. We'll need to raise our game to avoid a bit of a thumping.
Vacamion Posted 24 June 2012 Posted 24 June 2012 Win..... I can feel it. Given that only once in my entire life (against Holland in 1996) has England played brilliantly in a tournament and thumped the opposition, it would be out of the ordinary, but here's hoping...
MooseBreath Posted 24 June 2012 Posted 24 June 2012 Glen Johnson just walked through their defence. Promising.
FoxyPV Posted 24 June 2012 Posted 24 June 2012 The manner in which England are playing into the box would suit Carroll rather than Rooney or Welbeck
shen Posted 24 June 2012 Posted 24 June 2012 Well this is already proving to be much more exciting than I expected! It'll probably finish as the first 0-0 in this tournament despite a flurry of chances after 15mins
MooseBreath Posted 24 June 2012 Posted 24 June 2012 Still can't fathom why Milner is getting in ahead of Walcott
Phube Posted 24 June 2012 Posted 24 June 2012 Still can't fathom why Milner is getting in ahead of Walcott Seconded!
MooseBreath Posted 24 June 2012 Posted 24 June 2012 Italy are dominating now. We're looking a bit hopeless with the ball... Milner is cack.
lcfcsnow Posted 24 June 2012 Posted 24 June 2012 What does Welbeck actually do? Might as well have Beckford up front on his performances in he Euros.
