We're through then?

Listening to the radio you'd think we'd crashed out miserably.

Anyway, very tough game but still winnable. Need to raise our game though.

Winnable but sod me this is going to be difficult, even if Italy do always find a way to fvck up.

England are going to have to be at their absolute best, each and every player at the top of their game.

Above all, we can't allow ourselves to be dominated in midfield as we'll be demolished.

They don't look as though they like pace though, Walcott should start on Sunday.

I don't think there is much between Italy and Spain. We'll need to be at our best and have a bit of luck but it can be done.

The worse the opposition the more we seem to struggle. Not changed since last World Cup. Bring it on I say. Obviously it depends on which England turn up but we're capable of battling against good teams. All to play for.

True, supporting Leicester we tend to raise our games against the better sides, hopefully England will be the same.

Same here..we will need to be tight in defence again ofcourse.

They haven't got a lot of pace at the back..

We can beat them, Italy certainly aren't as good as what they were a few years back, Ireland caused them problems at times until they were reduced to ten men.... Croatia outplayed them completely in the second half, good chance of getting to the semi's...

England win 1-0, France lose 2-0, England finish top, we play on Sunday against Italy, which I don't have to work......If Carlsberg did tournaments.

We'll have to show more in midfield or we'll get swamped by Italy. Think we could win it although I have a feeling this one could be so tight it goes down to pens.

I'm definitely having a tenner on Balotelli anytime goalscorer - he's bound to get one against us isn't he?!

Listened to the last 20 minutes on 606 and the way they were talking you'd have thought we had finished bottom on zero points.

They kept saying how we were poor against France, poor against Sweden and how we were lucky not to be 3 nil down in today's game.

We've finished top of a group some people weren't even expecting us to get out off. It might not be pretty football but it's getting us results and that's all that matters.

Ignore it, we are playing to our strengths, Greece did it, Denmark did it and went on to win. We ain't going to be Spain I will take hard fought, solid one goal victories all tournament if we win it...

People have forgotten that we were expected to not even get out this group...

Chiellini is a doubt for Italy for the quarters

Yessssss

One of their main men

Still Pirlo, De Rossi and Di Natale and that young winger to really look out for

Think our defense have Mario sussed

Will be a tough and hopefully entertaining game :chant:

I think its just great to still be involved, I think we can play much better so we have room to improve. There are not many easy games in this competition and from here on in ther are as hard as they get in Europe. Lets just keep grinding out results and see where we go. Looking forward to a Sunday evening with some bite.
