21st Century Fox Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 Terrible mistake by Rodwell but excellent finish from Reus. Not looking good for City.
MC Prussian Posted 3 October 2012 Author Posted 3 October 2012 Manchester City are scared shitless of Dortmund. There's no bite, no drive forward. The sideways and backwards passing is very unusual for Mancini's side. Terrible mistake by Rodwell, but make no mistake - his teammates are just as bad and inept.
martyn Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 Absolute robbery if City get anything out of this, they've been utterly outclassed.
MC Prussian Posted 3 October 2012 Author Posted 3 October 2012 What a laughable penalty, the ball hit Subotic on the upper arm - and it wasn't even moving towards the ball. Lucky Manchester City, very lucky to get a point out of this.
EnderbyFox Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 Aaron Ramsey has scored. Who's going to die now?
Haydos Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 Missed the start but Dortmund's movement and passing looked top class second half.
Tielemans63 Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 To think Everton have bought Mirallas for less than half the fee they received for Rodwell. I've no doubt Rodwell will become s good player but he's looked a liability since he joined City. It's the third time in a handful of appearances he's gifted the opposition a goal.

I've got a lot of doubt about him ever being anything other than an alright player. Every single Evertonian, and more importantly David Moyes couldn't say yes quick enough to £15million, which is not a lot these days, and definitely not a lot as Man City go. He could've held out for more almost certainly, but didn't see the point because Rodwell ain't all that.
BlueSi13 Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 I think the more concerning thing for Manchester City so far this season is that i don't think they've actually played well as yet. Every game i've seen them in they have been utterly dreadful. To me they look like a team that doesn't actually get on with one another, and couple that with a seeming collapse of hunger and desire for success leads to the inevitable slump and eventual failure. They certainly need to buck their ideas up this Champions League campaign or they will be dumped out for the second year in a row. In truth i'd be surprised if they avoid this fate with the group they have.
StanSP Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 2 Frenchmen scored wonder goals this week. Benzema can try all he wants to top Knockaert's. He won't do it, but this comes close. Exquisitely done... http://www.dailymoti...2azg_mad2_sport
accessory Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 Incredible performance by Celtic at Camp Nou last night - so unlucky to lose to a last-minute winner. But they're still 2nd in their group and with two home games to come, Neil Lennon has a real chance of making it to the last 16.
Guest MattP Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 Unlucky? Celtic had one shot on target and 18% possession, how anyone can think they deserve anything from a game like that is unbelievable.
Finnegan Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 Unlucky? Celtic had one shot on target and 18% possession, how anyone can think they deserve anything from a game like that is unbelievable. Grow up, Matt. They're a Championship standard side at best and they took the best team in the world down to the wire, after leading. That's an achievement whoever you are. Chelsea offered little by way of chances or possession but still drew the plaudits for their Camp Nou defensive display and you couldn't buy one of their players with the cost of the entire Celtic side.
Guest MattP Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 Grow up? Wtf Sorry but I have no respect for any side who plays football like that. 1 shot. 18% possession and a deflected goal? I'd expect City to put in a better shift than that. I didn't appreciate the way Chelsea did it either, I certainly wouldn't have called their performance "unbelievable" and thought of them "unlucky" had Barca beaten them.

Real only managed 31% and 4 shots on target in the last game against Barca.
Finnegan Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 I disliked Chelsea's tactics but I happily give them credit for a well organized, defensive performance. You'd expect City to do better than a narrow defeat in the 94th minute at Barca? **** off. You're just sour because it's Celtic. At least have the maturity to admit it.
Guest MattP Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 No Id expect us to have more than 1 shot on goal anywhere in 90 mins. Bitter? It was great better than a 6-0 defeat to lose like that People talk like they are a League 2 side, they went to Spartak and won last game. The same Spartak who went 2-1 up in the Nou Camp.
ScouseFox Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 Dortmund take the lead against Real after City take the lead against Ajax. Group wide open.
ScouseFox Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 And Madrid equalise straight away. Give you a guess who scored. (He's the best player in the world).
purpleronnie Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 And Madrid equalise straight away. Give you a guess who scored. (He's the best player in the world). no he aint.
ScouseFox Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 Man City pretty much out of the CL now. Not sure if they are mathematically but they'll be on 1pt after 3 games and will need to beat Dortmund away and Real at home.
