But when you play as well as we have done for most part of the season and win 5 games in a row, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the team to perform on a consistent level and get automatic promotion. Having said that, some of the reactions of fans on here has been way over the top. We WILL make the play-offs, and I believe we CAN get automatic but it's very close and there's still 4 teams in it IMO. This league is crazy, anyone can beat anyone so it's not over yet. 16 games left! COYB!

We've lost one cup game and one game in the league on the back of that five game winning run, if we win our games in hand we'll still be second. No one can expect us to not lose a single game.

I wasn't ranting, I generally leave that to others. Just pointing out that the team have performed better than expected and people should remember what their own expectations were before moaning. There's been plenty of it all season and all this last week, not just on here either. At least there haven't been any Pearson out threads this last week. Makes a pleasant change

I know you did but you haven't flip flopped in your opinions depending on the odd result or two. I revised my prediction upwards to 6th after we'd signed Knockaert. If we finish above that it's been a better season than I expected and i'll have no complaints, unless we lose in the play offs Kermit style

I think a finish of 4 to 6 place now would be good , and win the play-offs

Anyway, I'm sure I voted in this poll at the time but can't see my name. I swear I voted just outside the playoffs, but obviously didn't o_O There's no reason at all why we can't finish 2nd though...

Pearson has recruited youngsters en mass, and that is a MASSIVE mistake, but exactly what I expected from such a pathetic so called manager. ANYONE, who can state on this site that we will be in the Premiership following this season, is a brain dead pillock. Under this donkey, we will get nowhere. I'd like to come back to this statement at the end of the season.

Maybe I'm being a little hard on NP but imo Bruce and Zola are much too canny to finish below us. Saying that if you could choose your run in then apart from a busy April it ain't that bad so who knows!

They way i look at it better of to start with steady expectations, rather than last season where we all ended up dissappointed Think I was right to post this in the pre-season predictions
