Langston Posted 19 October 2012 Posted 19 October 2012 "we all get along very well in the team" This is so much more noticeable in comparison to previous disjointed seasons. Seems like we finally have a group that want to play for one another as well as themselves, great stuff.
Ric Flair Posted 19 October 2012 Posted 19 October 2012 Fancy a goal from The Pigeon tomorrow, he won't be happy that he didn't take all the headlines in the last week.
MrSpaM Posted 19 October 2012 Posted 19 October 2012 "I start English classes next week, on my return from selection. Badly I do not understand. If I speak softly, I can answer. Anyway, in the workforce, there are a lot of different nationalities . Namely, there is a Welshman, I do not understand what I said (laughs) " Does he mean Kingy? he dosnt even speak with a welsh accent
Kitchandro Posted 19 October 2012 Posted 19 October 2012 Does he mean Kingy? he dosnt even speak with a welsh accent I can see why he wouldn't be able to understand Kingy, could he speak any faster?
dynamark Posted 19 October 2012 Posted 19 October 2012 So hes OK with errrrr the scousers?. Last thing we really need is Knocky to speak proper lesta the opposition may start to work out what hes up to.
DifferentViewOnFootball Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 The showboating last night in the final few mins was epic. I just love this guy!
glenny_fox Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 some of his skills were class in the last few minutes. But it could have been a lot different if they scored from the one he gave away at the end. Still.. I cant help but have a man crush on this guy
Corky Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 The showboating was brilliant. I love the fact he's so confident in his ability to keep the ball he can try and trick the opposition.
marbelladave Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 NFP needs to do a deal with Knockaert; Something along the lines of "I'll give you the free attacking midfield role, you stop giving the ball away"......... Actually that could really work, if Knockaert is more involved then he might be a bit less likely to try and show off, much to the benefit of everyone.

Actually that could really work, if Knockaert is more involved then he might be a bit less likely to try and show off, much to the benefit of everyone. We need to get the best out of him, and if that means building a tea around him then so be it, I think someone mentioned it the other week, but he spent a lot of time out of position last night and on the left seeking the ball, so we had Dyer, Knocky and Konch on the left flank and nobody on the right, Waghorn started to push over and cover the right flank after a while, but that then left us with only Nugent in the middle, if Knocky is going to do that, Dyer needs to be swapping wings with him, or he plays on the left and Vardy/Waghorn can act as a left winger when he cuts inside.
Ozwin Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 NFP needs to do a deal with Knockaert; Something along the lines of "I'll give you the free attacking midfield role, you stop giving the ball away"......... I prefer 'I'll give you a free attacking midfield role, you get a massive contract and never leave, ever."

Knockaert needs to play in the hole, a free role essentially....... The rest of our attacking players play around him. I prefer 'I'll give you a free attacking midfield role, you get a massive contract and never leave, ever." That would work fine......
MGLCFC Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 I think we may have to accept not everything he does will come off. However, for the first time in years I see a player with exceptional vision and talent and if I were NP I wouldn't try to reign in this talent. He'll create far more than he gives away. It is like having a Messi in the team at this level, you are excited about what he might try next.
Happy Fox Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 He is better of staying here no prem team in the lower reaches would appeal to him if he does go it will be to a top 4 prem team imo, certainly feel he could well eventually be our most expensive export beating Emile's price tag.
dynamark Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 Enjoyed the last 20 mins or so when he really quickly linked up from defence to attack(after the subs)some lovely incisive passes out.Plenty of energy right at the end as well. Only slight caution is that some of the others are a bit quick to hand him the responsibilty, because he is always after the ball.
DifferentViewOnFootball Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 If Arsenal didn't approach us I would be shocked. Surely he's done/will do more than Walcott or Chamberlain did at this level or below!

At this point he was playing through the centre, by some distance his best position. NFP though requires him to play on the flank rather than through the middle, doesn't fit in with his precious 4-4-2.......
dynamark Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 Agree entirely MD perhaps we should start a petition on line. The move he did right on the goal line literally brought gaps from those nearby. great attitude at the end again.

Good idea..... But first you have to convince NFP to move away from 4-4-2, suggest you bring some heavy weapons. And air support.......
Corky Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 I guarantee dave when we do change to 4-2-3-1 you'll want 4-3-3 soon enough
marbelladave Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 I guarantee dave when we do change to 4-2-3-1 you'll want 4-3-3 soon enough What I want is flexibility and the ability to get the best out of our players...... The best teams are putting plenty of players in midfield and domination possession, passing through the opposition. This is the modern way and, surprise, surprise it is perfectly suited for our current side, we even have options if we set up that way. 4-4-fooking-2 with 2 men wide and 2 men up will not cut it anymore, not in the longer term anyway.......
Danno Posted 6 November 2012 Posted 6 November 2012 Does Knockaert start tonight ? Team news about 7pm mate
Ric Flair Posted 6 November 2012 Posted 6 November 2012 Rumours of Nigel not being happy with his attitude when subbed on Saturday. It'll be an error on Pearson's part to drop him if so.
