DifferentViewOnFootball Posted 4 September 2012 Posted 4 September 2012 Couldn't give a fair opinion, we don't see Ince week in week out, and we've only been watching Marshall for half a season to be fair. Just answer the bleeding question!
SystonFox Posted 4 September 2012 Posted 4 September 2012 Ince is the best single player in the championship imo. Very impressed. You think this cos he plays for a team that wear an orange kit and his dads a bit of a ledge
JonnyBoy Posted 5 September 2012 Posted 5 September 2012 two different players, From 40 yards out, i'll have Marshall on the ball, but cutting inside from 25 yards out i would rather have Ince. Having watched the game my heart was in my mouth every time Ince got the ball, he seemed very threatening. wouldn't like to chose between them
Adster Posted 5 September 2012 Posted 5 September 2012 You think this cos he plays for a team that wear an orange kit and his dads a bit of a ledge Yeah, real logical that.
AKCJ Posted 5 September 2012 Posted 5 September 2012 To be honest, they both have their downfalls. If you could have the best of both you'd probably be signing Hatem Ben Arfa.
Donut Posted 5 September 2012 Posted 5 September 2012 Need to compare apples to apples on this one. Tom Ince has pace and dribbling ability. He can use these to beat a defender and he is quite direct as well, looking to get in and around the box and make things happen. More of an inside forward than an out and out winger Ben Marshall doesnt rely on pace, but instead relies on technique and the ability to deliver passes and/or crosses to feet or into dangerous areas. This is coupled with a wand of a right foot and excellent striking technique. Its a tough call to say which is the better player. With the way the game is progressing and the emphasis on pace, Ince might edge it. But id also argue Marshall is the more ''technically' gifted player.
I blame Wellens Posted 7 September 2012 Posted 7 September 2012 Don't understand the Marshall 'love in', can't see it myself. On Saturday his crossing was on a par with Dyers.

On Saturday his crossing was on a par with Dyers. are you mentally challenged? his crossing was fantastic, Sky even interrupted their Blackpool love in to say how good it was, just because a forward can't get on the end of it doesn't make it a bad cross, they have to make better runs and time jumps better

Leicfox Posted 7 September 2012 Posted 7 September 2012 Ince is the best single player in the championship imo. Very impressed. The above is not far wrong and he can only get better.
Fox42 Posted 7 September 2012 Posted 7 September 2012 Ince is the best single player in the championship imo. Very impressed. I thought he had a girlfriend?

I blame Wellens Posted 8 September 2012 Posted 8 September 2012 Marshall from 'STOKE' average at best just because you little girls in L block have a nice little chant for him does not make him a good player. In fact I'd rather have Wellens.

In fact I'd rather have Wellens. 'You little girls in L Block', 'crossing on a par with Dyer's' and your username itself is 'I blame Wellens'. Nice Try.

Blueblood1989 Posted 24 September 2012 Posted 24 September 2012 Just watchin tom ince having a massive impact on the championship which is good for blackpool in the short term but come january he'll be gone. Marshall will hopefully stay with us for a while
