dayday Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 A must win game for Pearson, and i think the players will be so cheesed of not winnig games they should of that Burnley are in for à torrid night 4-1 to Leicester.
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 If we don't win this Pearson's screwed. I'm pretty sure we won't beat Hull either.
seenitall Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 Some kind of win, followed by defeat in the next 2
RyanLCFC18 Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 i love how everyones saying night games have never been good to us but what do you think? that theres a spell thats stops us doing well on a night? there isnt... there shouldnt be a difference to how the squad play depending on time, they either have a good game or bad game. even if nights have been bad in past years it makes no difference to this burnley game!
foxfanazer Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 3-2 Leicester. Marshall, Vardy and Knocky
Corky Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 We're the only side yet to concede at home. Would be good to keep that record going.
5waller5 Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 2-0 Leicester win. Prolong the inevitable / agony for a few more weeks!!
5waller5 Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 1-1. But Pearson knows for a fact he has to win this. ... Just noticed the change in sig Dan .... Couldn't agree more - It's going to be very close!!!!!
deanolegend1989 Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 Another chance to dispel this ridiculous curse of not being able to win 2 home games within a week of each other too, although no doubt we fvck up. Couldnt agree more. Have we ever won 2 home games when consecutivly after each other? It seems to me everytime Ive thought "a nice 6 points at home" we NEVER get them. Did we even do it in the league 1 season? The last time I know for 100% sure we did was in the 02/03 promotion season but since then I cant remember ever?
kingfox Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 Interesting post - I do agree about the best strikers now you come to mention it. But to counter that, away from home we always get dicked on by absolutely awful forwards. Seriously how do donkeys like Iwelumo dick us every time. I agree about night games too, swear our record at home for night games is woeful in the past few years. Another chance to dispel this ridiculous curse of not being able to win 2 home games within a week of each other too, although no doubt we fvck up. Exactly Night games are very boring, never liked them really slow and some teams come and sit back, Burnley last year was probably one of the worst night games I have sat through, it bored me to tears and I rarely leave early, but on that occasion I did. Our night games last season weren't so bad looking back, beat Waford, Blackpool and Birmingham comfortably but in the past they bore me and we never look good. Hopefully we can win on Wednesday, if we play the right team.
Mack Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 I've not read the thread but we wont keep a clean sheet so I'd hope for a 2-1 or a 3-2 in my heart by my head is saying draw.
z-layrex Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 Win, lose, win, lose Since we lost today and we'll be at home I'll say we'll win. Probably because of the ginger pubes This. Same boring season as last year. Midtable mediocrity
shen Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 We'll probably create three chances, concede a peno and have three shots against us on the woodwork yet manage to win 3-1... happy days
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 Perhaps not the best time but hey-ho... Despite some of my comments this evening we are a somewhat different team at home. I'm going for 2-1 City. Vardy and Knocky. I we don't win this then we are something close to pathetic. Vardy couldn't it a barn door from three foot.
