LCFCCHRIS Posted 16 October 2012 Posted 16 October 2012 Absolute bollocks. He's been the same old Kasper. I wouldn't say any of the conceded goals were his fault in particular - maybe he should have done better on one or two but certainly not to blame. Maybe not off form but less shots to deal with really- he's not going to save everything
TheStig Posted 16 October 2012 Posted 16 October 2012 It strange how many now seem to pull out the alleged weaknesses of Kasper. I mean he is apparently on the radar of Mourinho a guy who knows a little about football so Kasper is probably not all that bad. I think it would be a big mistake to sell him off now or in January. The team seems to be gelling very well now and Kaspers enthusiasm and drive is in my opinion a vital part of the strength of the team. However who turns down Real Madrid even if its for the bench? We should keep at "any cost" as none of the suggested alternatives to Kasper in my opinion have neither the class nor the future he has. If the owners "mean business" in getting us into the PL then no vital players should be sold - and Kasper is a vital player! Up the Blues
marty78 Posted 16 October 2012 Posted 16 October 2012 We should sting them for £5m or make them wait until the summer. No offence to Walshy5 but I'll only believe in a done deal when it is confirmed anyway.
Steve Agnew Posted 16 October 2012 Posted 16 October 2012 I'd be happier to see Kasper go than I was Bamba. He struggles to take crosses, can't throw the ball, consistently wastes possession from long kicks and is a little too small. He is easily replaceable. I'd let him go for £1 million, but at least this time we might get some good money for him.
Tommy G Posted 16 October 2012 Posted 16 October 2012 Steve Agnew you need your head tested. Who do you suggest we could replace him with for that kind of money?

hbkkids Posted 16 October 2012 Posted 16 October 2012 im friends with him on psn Really? He's one of the cleanest catchers of a ball I've seen for a while. agree
Matt Posted 16 October 2012 Posted 16 October 2012 So what's going on here? I kinda just played this down as paper talk/rumour mill/not going to happen but from bits i've seen I believe this is gathering speed? I've missed all this thread and not going to search through, so was wondering if someone could give me a roundup please.
Libertine Dream Posted 16 October 2012 Posted 16 October 2012 I think Roy Keane just summed up Kasper's problem there. Says his Dad got it sometimes but what he said made sense.
Guest Col city fan Posted 16 October 2012 Posted 16 October 2012 Roy Keane says he is a very good goalkeeper. Roy Keane comes across as a moody, nasty bloke. Always has. He's right about Kasper though. IMO.
Danizen Posted 16 October 2012 Posted 16 October 2012 Roy Keane comes across as a moody, nasty bloke. Always has. He's right about Kasper though. IMO. Be reasonable, he has to listen to the sporting insights of Gareth Southgate and Adrian Chiles for a living. He barely hides his disgust, sometimes.

Guest Posted 16 October 2012 Posted 16 October 2012 Could be the next step in the pearson plan. remove another Sven signing, reduce the wage bill.
LCFCCHRIS Posted 16 October 2012 Posted 16 October 2012 im friends with him on psn agree whats his psn name ?
Sods Posted 16 October 2012 Posted 16 October 2012 To be honest I think eventually the 'Sven Signings' will leave, but at the right time Pearson wants them to go. All on big money and they aren't his signings, the only ones left are St Ledger, Kasper, Nugent and Danns.

Rusko187 Posted 16 October 2012 Posted 16 October 2012 For his sake I hope he doesn't go... Cassilas (sp?) still has years in him. If he does decide its time to move on than so be it but I will back whatever decision he makes! He's one of the few players in the past few years to actually give a sh!t about this club and show some fight when it's needed!
dynamark Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 As if Roy Keane watches any of our matches -but he is right about Kasper fans favourite but looses the plot very occasionally.

All the players you've just mentioned, bar Dann's have played an integral part this season already. Why would he utilise these players, get us into a good position, then ship 'em off because they cost a bit extra and ruin our promotion chances/chances of staying in the PL? Dann's is the only player from the Sven signings I think that will leave at some point. The others are important first team players.

It matters not, I don't think, whether they were Sven or Pearson signings. Nuge, Kasper, Konch are all worth paying for. Some aren't. Beckford being the main one IMO.

Totally Col, NP said in interview with Stringup" I don't care what players earn, not for me to worry about, it's what they bring to the team that matters to me" fair enough I think :chant:
