Callabinho Posted 14 October 2012 Posted 14 October 2012 When they ask for a fee I imagine Nigel's response will be 'shit loads'
cc_star Posted 14 October 2012 Posted 14 October 2012 He's good, but he still needs developing. How much developing can you do sat on the bench somewhere.
Happy Fox Posted 14 October 2012 Posted 14 October 2012 http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/view/277027/Kasper-Schmeichel-Madrid-deal-is-Real/ LEICESTER CITY keeper Kasper Schmeichel is a target for Spanish giants Real Madrid . Boss Jose Mourinho has instructed his goalkeepingcoach Silvino Louro to recruit a back-up for No.1 Iker Casillas. And they see Schmeichel, 25, as a long-term successor to Casillas, 31. Denmark Under-21s international Schmeichel was voted Leicester’s player of the season last campaign. The former Manchester City, Notts County and Leeds keeper is the son of Manchester United legend Peter and is making a name for himself in his own right. Real are also looking at Real Zaragoza’s Roberto, 26, and Osasuna’s Andres Fernandez, 25. But any possible move could see Casillas moving on – and he would interest Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City.
Aus Fox Posted 14 October 2012 Posted 14 October 2012 Do you think they'd like Conrad Logan instead? He likes sitting on the bench
StanSP Posted 14 October 2012 Posted 14 October 2012 Do you think they'd like Conrad Logan instead? He likes sitting on the bench And Conrad looks a bit similar to Kasper, too. Send Conrad on the plane...

Tielemans63 Posted 14 October 2012 Posted 14 October 2012 Nah. He's good but Real Madrid good? Not sure. Still, they did sign Thomas Gravesen.
Narborough_fox Posted 14 October 2012 Posted 14 October 2012 Casillas in and £15 million and we might start talking....
StanSP Posted 14 October 2012 Posted 14 October 2012 Nah. He's good but Real Madrid good? Not sure. Still, they did sign Thomas Gravesen. And Jonathan Woodgate.
Aleksz Posted 14 October 2012 Posted 14 October 2012 He's always said how much he hated being a benchwarmer, he'd wamt first team football.
Deucalion Posted 14 October 2012 Posted 14 October 2012 Non-story. Why would he go to Real Madrid? Sideways step at best.
Leicester_Numan Posted 14 October 2012 Posted 14 October 2012 It may be Real Madrid but I can't see him leaving to sit on a bench for years. He'd have to insist that Casillas goes and why would they get rid of a keeper with a good 5 or 6 years at the top left in him? It's a pointless move but he wouldn't be the first player to be lured by money and glamour and waste his career on the bench
Narborough_fox Posted 14 October 2012 Posted 14 October 2012 He'll never move, we've got Knockaert they haven't.
Guest ttfn Posted 14 October 2012 Posted 14 October 2012 He is good enough to be back up at a top club. If Ross Turnbull can find his way onto the bench for a Champions League final so can Kasper.
Guest Col city fan Posted 14 October 2012 Posted 14 October 2012 Don't be fooled. Kasper is a top keeper, and comes across as a very ambitious young man. If there is truth in this story, he would want to go to Real Madrid, of course he would. How old is Casillas now? (It seems like he's been around for ever).
