ScouseFox Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 Have to say, I'm not a fan either club but you have to credit Chelsea and Man City they're both playing with a huge amount of passion and commitment and giving it everything - great to see that teams still really care about the FA Cup. Hate to be a killjoy but I'd say that's almost certainly because they've both fúcked up any chances of winning any other competitions this season and need this to save their jobs (in Mancini's case) and not be killed (in Benitez's case).

The players, who are getting paid either way, really went all-out. While the game was sloppy at times, it was played at 1,000 mph and was exciting to watch.
Guest Bilo Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 The amount of abuse that Chris Hoy, the cyclist on twitter is absolutely hilarious. People think he's the referee in the game. Chris Hoy â€@chrishoy8m I guess Chris Foy's having a shocker again today! :-)
Leicesterpool Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 Very entertaining semi final Well done Man City, So Chelsea might win fcuk all this season
Fox92 Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 Very entertaining semi final Well done Man City, So Chelsea might win fcuk all this season Serves Roman right (again).
Corky Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 Mental from Aguero to jump two footed right onto David Luiz' arse. Lucky to be on the pitch. I'd say sure to get a ban for violent conduct when it's rewatched by the FA, but there'll probably be something somewhere they think is more important so he'll get away with it. He shouldn't get away with it, unless Foy admits he saw it (then the question should be "Why didn't he give him any sort of card?").
Fox in the North Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 And Wigan are more likely in the Europa League, ooer
Jordan Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 It will be really ironic when everyone makes fun of Wigan for having either no fans or plastic fans gets behind them for the final... They will have the most fans in England for a day!
Floating Fox Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 :: Saw a BBC news peice on the MILLLL fight....The reporter said "I hope its not a return to the old days"...Yeah because of 1 fight every club is going to bring out their hooligans and scrap on the terraces that don't exist! Gotta love the British Media eh??
Super_horns Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 He shouldn't get away with it, unless Foy admits he saw it (then the question should be "Why didn't he give him any sort of card?"). Looks like he has...
Matt Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 Really don't understand 'the ref saw it so we can't punish the player' thing with the FA.
ScouseFox Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 Yet again, if the ref saw it and did nothing, the ref should be facing retrospective punish for being so damn shite. He full on two footed stamped on him. It wasn't even really a two footed challenge, it was a disgusting, malicious, full on intending to injure someone stamp. I can't even begin to think of the reaction had it been another South America striker by the name of Suarez, for instance...
StanSP Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 You have to wonder what the referee did see then. This retrospective rule is a load of shite, really.
Kitchandro Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 Referees cannot be questioned. If they see it and don't do anything, it must have been nothing. We are obviously just foolish mortals.
ScouseFox Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 So, 5.15 KO for the final. Loads of complaints. Virgin trains "can't" extend their services, so same problems as the semis. FA respond with "later kick off times prove more popular with a global tv audience". Brilliant.
Kitchandro Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 5.15 for the FA Cup final? Now that really is taking the piss.

Fox92 Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 Coverage already started. FA Cup final is the greatest cup competition in the World. The final itself should be played at the end of the season, at 3pm. Not 5:15pm. However, I am looking forward to it. FA Cup final is still a great day for football fans. Really want Wigan to win. Got nothing against Manchester City, however, I like Wigan.
Kitchandro Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 I want Wigan to stay up but I can't want them to win today. I can't have Wigan winning more FA Cups than Leicester, it's just ridiculous.
anotherharboroughfox Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 Dave Whelan is an owner I'd love, real passion for the game and really cares about his club!
The Year Of The Fox Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 Dave Whelan is an owner I'd love, real passion for the game and really cares about his club! Thinking the same though I'm thing ours are not so bad at all
foxfanazer Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 Agree that Whelan seems like a good guy and a great owner. The one thing I found interesting was that a bad challenge ended his career and that he is butter about it. Makes his stance on the Mcmannaman challenge all the more surprising
eye666 Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 Anyone else notice the cracking close-up of the singer's side-boob?
