Happy Fox Posted 11 November 2012 Share Posted 11 November 2012 Ipswich (h) - 3 points Sheffield Wednesday (a) - 0 points Leeds Utd (a) - 1 point Dierby (h) - 3 points Barnsley (h) - 1 point Millwall (a) - 3 points 11 points from 6 games is realistic for us imo, whether it happens or not the championship throws a surprise result or two but that is what I think we will get. foxfanazer Posted 11 November 2012 Share Posted 11 November 2012 Got excited then, thought there was going to be a poll Ipswich 3 Sheff wed 1 Leeds 0 Derby 3 Barnsley 3 Millwall 0 I make it
norfolk-fox Posted 11 November 2012 Share Posted 11 November 2012 Ipswich (h) - win Should win but Ipswich are turning results around so this could be a nervy win with Ipswich aiming for a draw Sheffield Wednesday (a) - draw They are struggling for form and from what can remember not good ground for us, so a point possibly high scoring Leeds Utd (a) - draw Leeds will have point to prove after that 6-1 defeat to watford but shows they concede against good attacking teams which on our day think we could win but draw seems more likely Derby (h) - win Must win and good record in recent years. Feel it's a different derby team tho who will be tougher to beat but going by forest game should win it Barnsley (h) - draw There has to be a game were we slip up at home at this could be it, depends on the day as Barnsley can be dangerous. Millwall (a) - lose From what iv heard about millwall all 6ft+ and get stuck in so I think we will struggle at set peices and unfortantly lose this one. 9-11 pts i think from possible
Fox92 Posted 11 November 2012 Share Posted 11 November 2012 Ipswich (h) - 3 points Sheffield Wednesday (a) - 0 points (The one game I really, really want to win. But we never win at Hillsborough) Leeds Utd (a) - 1 point Derby (h) - 3 points Barnsley (h) - 3 points Millwall (a) - 1 point 11 points is possible/realistic, but all the away games are tough. Don't think Ipswich will be a walk over either.
Lukey Boi Posted 11 November 2012 Share Posted 11 November 2012 Ipswich - Should win - 3 points May be tough because Ipswich have started getting points but should win. Sheffield Wednesday - 3 points I think we will get a win, they've been poor in their form really. Leeds Utd - 1 point We'll go there and I'd expect us to win but we're away so I'd think a point would be good. Derby - 3 Points Will be tough and they're not doing bad but expect 3 points with the quality we have. Barnsley - 3 points Don't think there is much of a threat from these, we're at home a definite 3 points Millwall - 0 points Millwall been very good recently from what I've seen from results, it would be hard. I don't think we'll even take a point. I think we can get 13 from 18 which isn't too bad

kingfox Posted 11 November 2012 Share Posted 11 November 2012 Ipswich 3 pts - A must win, the most likely win of those six Sheff Wed 1pts - Could be a tough one, they have good players especially Ross Barkley Leeds 3pts - We have been decent at Elland Road in the last couple of season's Derby 3pts - Should be a decent 1-0, 2-0 win Barnsley 3pts - Usually one of the most boring games, but we should win Millwall 0pts - Millwall is quite a tough place to go, think we will get beat
peterborofox Posted 11 November 2012 Share Posted 11 November 2012 Being negative, thisi s howm nay i think we could get, bearing in mind Ipswich will be harder than a few weeks back and Sheff Wed and Millwall are never good places ofr us to go: Ipswich (h) - 1 points Sheffield Wednesday (a) - 0 points Leeds Utd (a) - 1 point Derby (h) - 3 points Barnsley (h) - 3 point Millwall (a) - 0 points Think we should get: Ipswich (h) - 3 points Sheffield Wednesday (a) - 1 points Leeds Utd (a) - 1 point Dierby (h) - 3 points Barnsley (h) - 3 point Millwall (a) - 1 points Have a good record at Leeds
Munshi Posted 11 November 2012 Share Posted 11 November 2012 Ipswich (h) 3 points , should get the win as they look all over the place at the back. Sheffield Wednesday (a) 1 point - Think we could get the win if we are at our best but wouldnt mind a draw. Leeds(a) 3 points - we've done well there for the past couple of seasons and they just got hammered by watford. Derby (h) 3 points - We seem to normally do well against them and should get the win . Barnsley (h) 3 points - they've never been a good team and we could win by a few goals Millwall (a) 0 points- We may well be able to get a draw but realistically i think we'll lose this won . NiftyFox Posted 11 November 2012 Share Posted 11 November 2012 Ipswich will be a tricky one with our dip in form and Mick Mcarthy getting them back on track. You just know that Dj will score.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 11 November 2012 Share Posted 11 November 2012 The only game that really worries me is Millwall away, we can win all of them but being realistic 12 out of 18 would be a pleasing and achievable return.

Legend_in_blue Posted 11 November 2012 Share Posted 11 November 2012 It depends on the referee and how many game changing incidents they're likely to award against us. This thread should be called "Next 6 games - who is the referee?".

I've put my predictions in bold. I think with the teams we're playing, we should be aiming for maximum points at home. We should be beating Barnsley, Derby and Ipswich all day long and as long as we play to our full potential, we should do. I would accept 5 points away from home as a decent return, but Leeds would be the only one that jumps out as a difficult fixture. I think Pearson should be targeting these six games as a chance to get our promotion campaign back on track - for me, this is certainly one of the easier run-ins we'll have this season. I know there are no easy games in the Championship, but we really, really should be beating most of these teams.

I think we can get 13 from 18 which isn't too bad This looks realistic, IF we start converting a few more chances - a big IF, if Nugent is out for any period (that could make Ipswich a banana skin for starters). I'd take a point from Millwall right now - we rarely seem to get anything against them, they're on great form at the moment and play the sort of football that we struggle with. That said, there are always unpredictable results - e.g. winning at Boro, but losing at Watford
ADK Posted 12 November 2012 Share Posted 12 November 2012 Going on form: Ispwich 3 Sheff Wed 3 Leeds 3 Derby 3 Barnsley 3 Millwall 0 15pts I highly doubt we'll get 15 points mind you, i'd be delighted with 11.

Leicester_Numan Posted 12 November 2012 Share Posted 12 November 2012 I'd be happy with Ipswich 3pts, Sheff Wed 1pt, Leeds 1pt, Derby 3pts, Barnsley 3pts, Millwall 1pt. I think that's a pretty realistic 12pts out of 18. Anything better is a bonus
