Grewks Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 Cheeky bid for Alex Pearce of reading instead?? yet to sign a new deal which expires in the summer.
dmayne7 Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 No! Best phrase ever. But half the people who use it, probably don't even know what it means!
Kitchandro Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 But half the people who use it, probably don't even know what it means! That's what's so great about it
flowwolf Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 Put it this way - I know a lot more than you. I too wouldn't be surprised if he's not back in for whatever reason it may be, but for me he's certainly best suited to playing with Morgan. We've not lost with St.Ledger in the team this season IIRC. Put it this way you know fvck all. We had your silly wind up prank last time around and right on cue your on here for the transfer window, with your I'm in the know bull shit. Face it you have been rumbled on here go and try some where else.
surrifox Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 what is supposed to be wrong with SSL and how long is he out for?
CosbehFox Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 I agree with Ric here, Liam is being bigged up too much because he is 'homegrown' he is bang average at the minute The lad's 19, still learning his game. Without him being exceptational, he will be average.
Babylon Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 St Ledger hasn't put a foot wrong this season, when partnered with Wes. Didn't put in one bad performance He was utter utter shit against Burnley first half, he was more of a shambles that first half than any other player I've seen this year. He did improve though thank goodness.
Babylon Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 No! Best phrase ever. If it's good enough for Han Solo, it's good enough for me.

Not wishing to judge whether people are “in the know†or not as all I’m really sure about is that I’m not in the know, but I do have an observation. When Sven was at Leicester he had a very loose tongue. He was fairly happy to talk transfer targets with virtually anyone who would listen. Consequently you had all these rumours constantly being generated on social media sites and repeated by numerous “in the know†(ITK) type characters seeking attention. Many were repeated in a way that covered the ITK both ways in case the rumours turned out to be true or false. Compare this to the atmosphere now. Nigel P plays his cards very close to his chest and doesn’t reveal anything until a deal is either very close or public knowledge (i.e. confirmed at the other end). NP is really a disaster for people who like to build a reputation as an ITK. You only have to look at this web site. During the transfer windows under Sven we had numerous threads discussing a high number of transfer targets – now we have a few threads based on very scant information and speculation. Under Nigel I strongly suspect that the number of people who are genuinely ITK is a very small pool indeed – at least at the Leicester end of any prospective deals.
Guest Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 The lad's 19, still learning his game. Without him being exceptational, he will be average. Are you talking about Baptiste or Bert?
Bert Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 Are you talking about Baptiste or Bert? Can't be me, I'm 25.
dmayne7 Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 If it's good enough for Han Solo, it's good enough for me. Ok its decided; It can stay but only if people are as cool as Han Solo
dpjfox Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 i doubt we will go for Baptiste if Keanes loan is extended
Woollett's Wellies Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 i doubt we will go for Baptiste if Keanes loan is extended According to the Mercury the Keane loan has been extended for a month. Had it been until the end of the season I would have agreed with you but the month extension seems to indicate they may have their eyes on a permanent signing.
Johnny Cash Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 Baptiste is not needed nor wanted. Keane/Moore are good enough untill banterman is back. Should never have sold Bamba for peanuts imo.

Possibly just to cover Whitbread/SSL whilst they're injured then

Woollett's Wellies Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 Possibly just to cover Whitbread/SSL whilst they're injured then You could well be right. I just think that NP might not be convinced by Whitbread and the SSL situation seems a bit up in the air at the moment which leaves us pretty thin. I am certainly not an ITK but heard an interesting rumour that when SSL came back from Munich and had been told he didn't need an op, he was told that only a return to full training would reveal the full extent of the injury. I'd say that's a bit of a catch 22 situation! Of course, that might be all total bollocks and we see him back in a couple of weeks!
sphericalfox Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 It's pretty clear to me that Blackpool will let him go, but only when they find a replacement, hence the extension for Keane. We may not see this concluded until Blackpool sort themselves out.

We may not see this concluded until Blackpool sort themselves out. I think Baptiste leaving is a certainty. The only question is who to. He has said he won't sign a new contract and, apparently, Blackpool are implementing a new wage structure at the end of this season so he would know that, even if he did want to, it would mean a pay cut as he must be one of their top earners. Appleton appeared on the club media player recently and hinted that he had been told that there would be very little, if any money for transfers but he should look to the loan market for reinforcements. Blackpool fans seem to think this is probably a done deal and that Oyston being Oyston, if we have made an offer, will pocket the money and have him out of the door quicker than you can say Donkey walloper. If that's true I suppose the big clue will be if they let him get cup tied at the weekend.
Kitchandro Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 When Naughton got forward sometimes he scored when was the last time richie scored?
SmithyFox12 Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 Tom Ince and Alex Baptiste continue to be linked with moves to Liverpool and Leicester respectively, but both players started Blackpool's FA Cup draw at Fulham today. Manager Michael Appleton had no qualms picking the duo. From Sky Sports.
Grey Fox Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 When Naughton got forward sometimes he scored when was the last time richie scored? This has to go down as one of the most well timed posts I have ever read on FT.
