And you don't know which words to use :P

In all seriousness though, I thought St Ledger was a liability last season but when he played this season, he looked much more assured and I'd prefer him in the team to Whitbread of Baptiste.

Certainly not as bad as FIF is making out.

Always said St Ledger is crap, obviously didn't see him at the back end of last season, and this season.

Stupid idiot, making stupid judgments.

SSL has played about 20 minutes of football this season.

Oh so none then? I'll rely on NP to decide if he fits the bill then thanks.

Well that still qualifies as knowledge and if you were literate you would have noticed that I said I'd prefer St Ledger. That means its MY opinion and you can't argue with my preferences. If I had said that St Ledger is better than Baptiste than I'd be more than happy for you to criticise me for suggesting that I know better than NP. I said earlier on in the thread that I'm not a fan of Baptiste but I'd give him time before making any judgement.

I back NP to make the right decision but he is still capable of making the wrong decision and a Forum is a place for people to express opinion so I put forward my thoughts that I'd prefer St Ledger over Baptiste. I didn't claim to have any divine knowledge on the subject or even say that St Ledger is better than Baptiste nor did I even tell you that my opinion was gospel.

I didn't exactly make a really opinionated post spouting some nonsense either so don't quite understand why you've taken such offence to it :dunno:.

I am so sorry that other people having an opinion is upsetting for you; I'll refrain from upsetting you in the future.

You've got to commend his attitude last season after he was transfer listed. Came back strongly and like you said showed some very positive form at the back end of the season. He even had a cracker at left back against Reading!

If we are in for Baptiste then maybe SSL could go the other way, it would suit him to be playing regular football again and would be chunk off Baps fee.

Happy days.

SSL is injured so won't be going anywhere :frusty:

No offence, I actually thought you had seen a lot of Baptiste and were judging him on an experienced, balanced viewpoint.Regarding the point of view subject I think most would say I actually champion the "everybody is entitled to an opinon" debate. It's not about right or wrong I genuinely believed you made the statement with knowledge!

Indeed, fed up with people making judgments, especially people based in France.

No worries. You're are normally one of the better on here so that's why I was slightly surprised with your response.

On Baptiste, from what I have seen of him, I had the same opinion on St Ledger before he arrived. Has a very good reputation in the Championship but whenever I have seen him play he looks like an accident waiting to happen. St Ledger turned it around massively, and under Pearson, Baptiste has the ability to be a top player I'm sure.

I say this before every signing.

It does not matter how the player has looked in the past, it has little/no relevance to how they will perform here.

For instance, he may be accident prone and look a bit of a clown.

On the other hand, has he ever played along side such a strong defender as morgan?? Or next to such a expeirenced full-back as Konchesky??

Before Nugent signed he had only scored 10 or more once in five seasons, now he has done it twice for us in two seasons.

In Pearson i trust, if his past defender signings are anything to go by (morgan, hobbs, chester) then none of us can have complaints.

Indeed.

But then you'd have to actually be going to games to know that.

Another fool who doesn't know about technological advances in the world. I've seen at least as many games as you and probably with a better view. I thought you were an intelligent poster but it seems I was wrong.

Let me know if you need any more help.

Never stolen anyone's tweets. Enough said.

That's not true is it. You've posted things on here that other people tweeted and you made out they were yours.

You've also made up stories to try to be an "in the know" poster.

you need to be liked is sad.
