blueblood88 Posted 8 January 2013 Posted 8 January 2013 What do we reckon then? A win would see us starting to pull away from 7th and cement our top 6 spot, so I think 3 points is definately needed here. My team would be: Schmeichel De Laet Morgan © Keane Konchesky Marshall Drinkwater James Knockaert Nugent Wood Subs: Logan, Moore, Schlupp, King, Dyer, Waghorn, Futacs. Going for a 1-2 win here, coming from behind with goals from Knockaert and Nugent.
blueblood88 Posted 8 January 2013 Author Posted 8 January 2013 Lose 2-0 It's the Leicester way! Normally I'd agree, but I get the feeling we're about to go on another winning run
whoareyaaa Posted 8 January 2013 Posted 8 January 2013 We would usually lose this game, but I think with the inclusion of Wood we now have enough to get past them easily, that's if the whole team plays to the level they can.
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 8 January 2013 Posted 8 January 2013 Normally I'd agree, but I get the feeling we're about to go on another winning run Need we need to
cc_star Posted 8 January 2013 Posted 8 January 2013 Perennial banana skin. If everyone puts a shift in, we'll win with ease 3-0. Can't help thinking this will be 2-1 scraping a win though, with brizzle putting in their performance of their season.
Captain... Posted 8 January 2013 Posted 8 January 2013 According to their fans they are up the shitter without Danns, so we spank them at theirs, then sell them Danns, we all know if he played against us he would raise his game and almost certainly score.
MattyFromLE Posted 8 January 2013 Posted 8 January 2013 If we turn up and play like we did against Huddersfield, we'll be comfortable 3 or 4 nil winners. Turn up and play like we did against Barnsley, then we'll struggle, Still think we'll win however. Wood and Nugent are on form and must be full of confidence.
Jiggers the Fox Posted 8 January 2013 Posted 8 January 2013 Would like to predict a win, what with our improved form and confidence, and their terrible home record. But we never seem to get a break at Ashton Gate.
Out Foxed Posted 8 January 2013 Posted 8 January 2013 Contemplating making the solo trip from London for this. Although we usually do shit there I have a better feeling no we have wood. Where do ppl drink beforehand?
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 8 January 2013 Posted 8 January 2013 Things are looking very good at the moment, we're playing well and not slipping up so hopefully we'll sail through the match trouble free. I'll go for 3-1 to us. Followed by a win against Middlesbrough and we can finally start climbing the table again
Babylon Posted 8 January 2013 Posted 8 January 2013 Huge game, I really think we need to win this is we are to consider ourselves serious contenders for the top two. Hull are home to Sheff Wed, Cardiff home to Ipswich and Boro at home to Watford (which I'd hope for a draw from).
bluesbrothers Posted 8 January 2013 Posted 8 January 2013 After travelling on a work night last year and watching us throw it all away, compounded by them not selling us any beer, I want some revenge, and so should the players who were there. 3-1 Leicester - Nugent, Wood, Waghorn.
Ric Flair Posted 8 January 2013 Posted 8 January 2013 We have got to start winning more away from home, the last 2 away games have been positive and another win against mediocre opposition is essential. Wood is on fire currently, Knockaert seems to revel against struggling teams and I sense a decent run coming from us. I predict a 3-1 win for us. Wood, Nugent and Dyer.
ReyAzarola Posted 8 January 2013 Posted 8 January 2013 We are in a good run of form, we have confidence and we have Wood. Normally I wouldn't expect much from an away performance but NP has also changed away tactics with good results and I expect a win. 2-1 Wood, Knockaert
Happy Fox Posted 8 January 2013 Posted 8 January 2013 We have the second best record against bottom half teams in the league according to Statto http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/league-championship/2012-2013/versus-bottom-half/full
NewquayFox Posted 8 January 2013 Posted 8 January 2013 Tight win for us, went to the game last time and so dissapointed with the result, tickets ordered and a few beers before to get in the mood..... ;0)
kingfox Posted 8 January 2013 Posted 8 January 2013 Potential blip may come here, or we will show our class and edge to a win. Schmeichel De Laet Morgan Keane Konchesky Knockaert James Drinkwater Dyer Wood Nugent 1-0 win.
foxfanazer Posted 8 January 2013 Posted 8 January 2013 Fancy us to win this. We don't look like an easy team to beat and with the addition of wood we should have enough to score a couple
Maybes Posted 8 January 2013 Posted 8 January 2013 Fancy us to win comfortably to be honest and its not often I say that.
Guest ttfn Posted 8 January 2013 Posted 8 January 2013 We have the second best record against bottom half teams in the league according to Statto http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/league-championship/2012-2013/versus-bottom-half/full This season has been the reverse of many previous ones in the way in which we have put away poor sides with ease. There was a time that if a side came to us on a losing streak (eg Millwall last year) you could bet your bottom dollar on us failing to take advantage. Even against Barnsley this year we managed to scrape a point. Conversely, we used to be freakishly successful against sides that were flying, but we've been beaten at home by Palace and Cardiff (although that win on Teesside looks better with each passing week).
