Guest Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 They played well. We played better. We deserved the win. A lot of good performances. I think Konch was incredible today.
James across the Pond Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 A huge clean sheet for us. Terrible play from Vardy but fantastic bailout from Kasper. Nuge could've had 2 and Wood could definitely be sitting on 9 goals in 4 games. 3 bars for us... Could've easily been one-sided. Overall, great win. Cheers to the fans that made it there
Bryn Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Massive win, absolutely massive. I think tonight was a pivotal night in the promotion run in. Huge respect to Middlesbrough for their great performance and their fans for making the trip down, we had to ride our luck tonight, but rode it we did and we had that extra quality in the final third. Kasper has had **** all to do lately but that right there is a big, big contribution from him. Thought Kasper, Drinkwater and Nugent were particularly excellent tonight.
Guest kristianity77 Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 To say that was nerve shredding is a massive understatement! Dunno what i cheered more, Nuges finish or Kaspers save!
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Best Saturday morning i've had in a long time.
Wakeyfox Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Some queers burnt me club down jerry You're really not wired up right are you?
Amin Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 I fvcking love Kasper! Nuge ain't bad either! I have to admit, I do feel a little bit sorry for the boro fans, but I would have felt even more sorry for myself if Emnes had converted the penalty!
Molson Canadian Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 two drops of pee came out for me when they got that penalty 2nd place in the table! good win!
lcfcsnow Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Not the best game but Morgan and Kasper, fantastic tonight Vardy needs to get out on loan for both parties now, that could have cost us.
cjslcfc Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Get In. In all honesty, Boro very impressive tonight. Ugly win, but a vital 3 points... So relieved! Kasper's penalty saving record must be great
whoareyaaa Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 MASSIVE win. Kept going, got the well deserved goal and managed to hold on after a huge save from Kasper. Hopefully a load of games get postponed tomorrow(Hull), and we can enjoy sitting in 2nd for the next 2 weeks.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Deserved, hitting woodwork 3 times and having two disallowed Shocking attendance but Sky and conditions caused that. Great win, going up
Corky Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Morgan was immense, how to defend the box. Brilliant capture.
ScouseFox Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 We've only conceded once after 70 minutes all season. Ridiculous stat. We're so fúcking good.
Wakeyfox Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Pearson "these Games can define seasons". I think he can feel a semi coming on...
Guest Col city fan Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 I think Wes Morgan is one of our best signings in many many years. I hold my hands up.. I was wrong about his supposed lack of pace. Tonight he was immense... And made at least two last-ditched blocks to stop them scoring. Super player.
Corky Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 They do. Six points taken from Middlesbrough, four from Hull.
whoareyaaa Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Have to say Keane's passing out to the midfield is great, he misplaced it once but other than just what we need, Instead of just launching it up the top hoping for the best. great defender as well.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Similar to Nuge's goal against Forest the way he took it early on the half-volley. Wood's assist is brilliant.
Danno Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Excellent win, we are becoming something special, great save Kasper!! Don't get Sky's constant arselicking of Middlesborough all fvcking game
The Doctor Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 I would bend over for Kasper without question, the sexy beast. Absolute hero. If I didn't think Wes would split me in half he'd get likewise. Nuge got hard done by for the first disallowed goal - perfectly timed run. As for the second - if he's offside, no advantage - bring it back for the foul on Wood surely? Brilliant partnership developing between him and Wood as well. Big Wes is an absolute monster in defence, and having Schmeichel behind him can only strike fear into the opposition. Commentators are absolute jebends mind.
Guest Col city fan Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 I'm loving the Wood-Nugent partnership. Constantly looking for each other, working for each other and unselfishly setting each other up. At last, a proper partnership up front.
