Berlinfox Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 That was a very unusual post-match interview. It sounded like he was really speaking honestly and not just coming out with the bland phrases that the players are presumambly coached to produce. Respect.
skinnydipper Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 Well done Ritchie. That took class to tell it as it was.
Kitchandro Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 He's always been honest in interviews. I'm sure some would say too honest or something similar to turn it into a negative From that I'd deduce he's absoluely knackered physically, and I think he knows it's best for everyone if he moves on. He obviously wants to play games.
purpleronnie Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 He must not have had the same media training the premiership robots players have, who seem to be afraid of having a personality.
foxesfan1989 Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 He sounded knackered and admitted so. Obviously going to struggle physically without games, which is why I don't see a future at the club for him.
Webbo Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 He did say Nigel got rid of the bitching and moaners which is what we all assumed was his motivation in getting rid of a lot of the players.
cc_star Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 He did say Nigel got rid of the bitching and moaners which is what we all assumed was his motivation in getting rid of a lot of the players. I'm just worried some are going to be coming back
marko Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 They're going to replay the interview between now and 6 if anyone missed it.
Happy Fox Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 I think it best if we part ways with Wellens no hard feelings he just isn't good enough standard of player we require, did NP allude to any more signings this window in his post match interview?
morris1234 Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 How do we feel about keeping Ritchie around to keep that morale up? It's clear he's well liked within the group and it sounded like he'd been given that role by Nigel to keep the positive mood around the place. Potential coach for the future maybe?
Fox92 Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 His interviews are usually good, and he does talk sense. Didn't hear it because we couldn't pick RL up in Huddersfield though.
dannythefox Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 Been a credit to Leicester in his time here. I think today will be his last game in the blue shirt I hope he does well where ever he goes he's been a good one for us.
buzzy Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 Get the useless get away from the club asap. are you talking about yourself then bye bye for wellens keep him in a coaching capacity
Simmo86 Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 are you talking about yourself then bye bye for wellens keep him in a coaching capacity Coaching
ian the fox Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 last season fans on this forum wanted Steve Howard as a meet & greeter at the King Power
Daggers Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 It was a quality interview which sounded better the second time around when it was repeated. Very impressed with his attitude.
Charl91 Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 How do we feel about keeping Ritchie around to keep that morale up? To keep morale up? For 20k a week, we could just hire a clown.
Carl the Llama Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 To keep morale up? For 20k a week, we could just hire a clown. We tried that - we ended up in div 1.
hornyhollthefox123 Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 Honest interview by Wellens, liked it. Absolutely agree. Refreshingly honest.
dmayne7 Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 Is there anywhere I can listen to the interview? Sounds interesting
