With any other referee we would have had a penalty, they would have had 10 men, and I'm pretty sure the outcome would have been very different... although 3 points is 3 points

You'd think if he had realised he'd missed that penalty he'd have come down a bit harder on Wolves second half. Or do they just have to wait until the end of the game to see it again?

Kilworthfox Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 Bad performance from the ref tonight, missed the pen on Knockaert, missed the red for Karl Henry. In the 2nd half at the end there was a blatent foul on Keane(?) not given & then a shot which was saved & a corner given. >

pazzerfox Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 It's not just the ref...it's the linesmen as well!! We don't seem to get many decisions at all. Lucky it didn't cost us. Blatant penalty, blatant red card. The crowd near the linesmen need to get on his back more.

Monk Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 Having seen the replays of AK going down in the box - he did make rather a meal of it, but it was still a stonewall peno. Definite red card too - not sure what the ref saw, as everyone else saw it. If King had stayed down it may well have been a different decision I feel.
