millwall pre match talk

Recommended Posts

I'm hoping that the lack of a cushion to the teams below might be a wake-up call, similar to 2010 when we lost our lead but proceeded to win the last five matches.

We've seriously stalled in the past few weeks, the quality of the football has gone down and so has the amount of goals. We have though been playing Saturday/Tuesday games a week since Peterborough so maybe a little break might do us some good.

Whatever, we need a result and performance. And no more excuses, we are a better team than Millwall and should beat them.

we hardly ever beat Millwall! Bit of a bogey team! Thinking again I'd start Kane with Wood! Love how the fans have judged him to be a bad player! When he's been played out of position! Similar to how Waghorn is judged to be a bad play by 5mins cameo's off the bench! Yet when he had that run of games he was man of the match every time and scored 4-10 which is a goal every other game!

Massive game, a good performance and convincing win could kick start our 8 game season!

Lose and it's not season over but it may prove too much to take and prove something really is wrong and can't be fixed this season!!

Lose this one and we will be blue, blue will

Don't usually like international breaks, but wasn't bothered this week due to our recent run. Just hope this break, as well as the trip to Portugal, has 'refreshed' us. It really is a big game on Friday, one that could kick-start our season.

Really hope Matt James is back for the remaining games, starting against Millwall.

Kasper

De Laet -- Morgan -- Keane -- Konchesky

Knockaert -- James -- Marshall -- Schlupp

Nugent -- Wood

Back to 442 with width. Nugent in his natural central position. Trying Marshall inside, but in a more attacking role with James sitting to break up play.

We need at least 75 points to get a playoff place imo.

16 points from 8 games to achieve that, unlikely on present form but hopefully the players/management realize the severity of the situation and deliver the goods.

Their futures are dependent on it.
