Jakemoore Posted 4 April 2013 Posted 4 April 2013 King as a playmaker No, not a play maker, a finisher! He's been known for his goals yet he's scored very little all year playing in a more defensive role, coincidence? I think not.
Wakeyfox Posted 4 April 2013 Posted 4 April 2013 Tbh don't care who the 11 are - just want whoever is picked, to actually turn up and put in shift and look like they actually want to win. This x 100% Need to have players who want to play for the club (and dare I say, the manager). Wouldn't mind if there were a few youth teamers in there, so long as they show some pride and pashuuun...
Tielemans63 Posted 4 April 2013 Posted 4 April 2013 New tactic i'd like to see the players employ - trying hard for 90 minutes.
mr wright Posted 4 April 2013 Posted 4 April 2013 Kasper Konchesky Morgan C Keane De Laet Dyer James King Moore Schlupp Nugent Subs-Logan,Whitbread,knockaert,drinkwater,marshall,wood,kane.
Bettsj2 Posted 4 April 2013 Posted 4 April 2013 I've changed my mind on the strikers. Schlupp and FUTACS!!!
escape2victory Posted 4 April 2013 Posted 4 April 2013 Schmeichel De Laet Morgan Keane Konchesky Drinkwater Marshall King Knockaert Wood Schlupp
Fox92 Posted 4 April 2013 Posted 4 April 2013 Kasper Moore -- Morgan -- Keane -- Konchesky Marshall -- Drinkwater -- James -- Schlupp Knockaert Wood
Lasty Posted 4 April 2013 Posted 4 April 2013 Schmeichel Moore Morgan Keane Konchesky Knockaert James Wellens Drinkwater Schlupp Waghorn
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 4 April 2013 Posted 4 April 2013 This latest malarky at the club will either galvanise us or were in for a tonking
phillo Posted 5 April 2013 Posted 5 April 2013 Kasper de laet keane morgon konch marsh drinky king knocky dyer futacs 4-5-1
Ricey Posted 5 April 2013 Posted 5 April 2013 Schmeichel De Laet Morgan Keane Konchesky James Wellens King Knockaert Nugent Schlupp Drinkwater and Wood play vital roles in the system but have been very poor for weeks, time to mix it up.
KFS Posted 5 April 2013 Posted 5 April 2013 Time to go back to basics with a twist to match Brighton. Lots of movement and fullbacks pushing on. Accurate passing and creativity coming from the width. That's when we're at our best, so make the form come! Kasper RDL Morgan Keane Konch King Drinkwater James Knockaert Marshall Wood Bench: Schlupp, Whitbread, Nugent, Wellens, Waghorn.
Cropwellfox Posted 5 April 2013 Posted 5 April 2013 Think he'll try 433 again Schmeichel Moore Morgan Keane Konchesky Wellens Drinkwater King Knockaert Wood Nugent Subs Logan De Laet Vardy Futacs Schlupp James Kane
Happy Fox Posted 5 April 2013 Posted 5 April 2013 I don't think a three man midfield works with Andy King in it, but if we play Knockaert in it it as the playmaker may work having Drinkwater and James as the two holding midfielders. As the wide forwards Schlupp and Dyer for me with Kane/Wood leading the line.
Pasturesfox Posted 5 April 2013 Posted 5 April 2013 Its interesting that not everybody has Nugent as a nailed on starter, he has been very poor for me in the last few games and probably needs to be on the bench to give him a reality check. He played his best for LCFC when he was competing with Beckford for a starting place.
MC Prussian Posted 5 April 2013 Posted 5 April 2013 I'd go for a 4-4-2 that can occasionally switch to a 4-3-1-2: Schmeichel De Laet Keane Morgan Konchesky Drinkwater James King Knockaert Wood Nugent
darko2k7 Posted 5 April 2013 Posted 5 April 2013 Schmeichel Moore Morgan Keane Konchesky Drinkwater James Marshall Knockaert Dyer Wood 1-2 City Dyer, Wood
CloudFox Posted 5 April 2013 Posted 5 April 2013 Going to this, thankfully. First time I've been able to go to a match in a while, so pretty excited for it! Unfortunately I have to sit with the Brighton fans as my friend and his family who I'm going with are all Brighton fans (ish), which is going to suck a bit, but I'm hoping it might give me a bit of perspective, and lets me watch our away fans in all their glory too. I obviously really really hope we win , but I'm just going to try and enjoy it to be honest. Que sera sera and all that. Come on you Foxes !!!
Craig Posted 5 April 2013 Posted 5 April 2013 Why's everyone so shit scared of these? Their recent form isn't that impressive either (DLLWDD). It's going to be a tight, cagey game.
poyetry in motion Posted 5 April 2013 Posted 5 April 2013 FWIW, as a Brighton fan, I don't think you'll suffer the tonking that some people fear. Our recent form has been indifferent and we've only got 1 fit recognised striker. A cagey game with possibly a 1-0 win for one of us? Also, it's at this point last season we self destructed. If we lose tomorrow, we might get the jitters again....bloody hope not, but you never know
bradc95 Posted 5 April 2013 Posted 5 April 2013 Schmiechel Moore Morgan Keane Konchesky Drinkwater James Knockaert Nugent Wood Dyer 424
seenitall Posted 5 April 2013 Posted 5 April 2013 Why's everyone so shit scared of these? Their recent form isn't that impressive either (DLLWDD). It's going to be a tight, cagey game. I used to dream of DLLWDD
brockmyster Posted 5 April 2013 Posted 5 April 2013 Kasper Moore Morgan Keane De Laet Knock James King Dyer Schlupp Nugent subs: Logan, Konch, Wood, Drinkwater, Marshall, Futacs, Vardy
biggs Posted 5 April 2013 Posted 5 April 2013 I'd have Wood in the lineup even if his performance has been off lately. He's a goal scorer and other than Nugent we don't have too many threatening players. Hoping Knocky finds the back of the net again this weekend I can see us winning this one by a few.
