Babylon Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 My gf loves her. Horses for courses. Your girlfriend needs a lesson in what is and isn't funny. Terrible.
James. Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Miranda Hart is a good shout, the massive oaf. On that mysogynist tip I'd also nominate Sarah Millican. I don't even know if that's her proper name. She's unbearably shit.
purpleronnie Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Miranda Hart - It's bad enough when people are unfunny, but when they're ridiculously popular it's even worse. Hate her with a passion. My gf loves her. Horses for courses. thats because shes a chick.
foxfanazer Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Dermot O'dreary and and Steven Dulhern Not because I really dislike them but they are sooo bland! Makes you wonder how they get their jobs on tv
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Steven Dulhern He's cringeworthy even for a children's TV host. When he hosts "normal" TV, my TV suddenly kicks out a parmesany stench. Have you seen the new Catchphrase? Roy Walker's still alive, get him back!
Bellend Sebastian Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Did you see the cringeworthy exchange between Corden and Patrick Stewart at the award show, horrendous. I didn't, but I can imagine exactly what that would be like and even that's enough to make me squirm a bit. I am an apologist for quite a few of the folk being mentioned on here. I've always liked Russell Brand, I've been a Morrissey fan for a quarter of a century (although of late all he seems to do is oversee terrible re-releases of his old records, and say things just get people's backs up) and I don't even mind Miranda Hart. Even if you don't like what they do, at least they actually do something, unlike, I dunno, Princess Diana (I'm not implying she should be doing much now, you understand)
Tom17LCFC Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Nick Grimshaw Just one of those that has to make people aware of all his celebrity friends Yes!!! Great shout, something about him I absolutely hate.

Morrissey's music is great, his opinions suck, stick to making music, but you can argue he has earnt the right to be an opinionated ****. Russell Brand has done some great stuff, his investigative stuff before he was really famous was quite good, and his columns in the Guardian are often very intelligent and interesting, but again he suffered from being an exposure whore and became famous for who he was not what he did.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Michael Parkinson Reginald Maudling Conway Twitty Leonard Nimoy Desi Arnez Arse-wipes, everyone of them!
StanSP Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Louie Spence - forces his homosexuality too much. All an act and that's what I hate about him as a person. I'm sure he's fine under all the facades he shows. Virtually all female comedians - females and stand-up comedy just shouldn't mix. I rarely laugh at any of their jokes. Amanda Holden - what has she ever done to gain fame?
James. Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Amanda Holden - what has she ever done to gain fame? To be fair she's a pretty successful actress and (I'll admit I Googled this but I had an inkling regardless) she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier award for one of her theatre performances. I actually quite like her, and she's fit. In fact, you should wash your mouth out sunshine, she's alright.

Guest BlueBrett Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Anyone who has ever had their own daylight hours show on Radio 1 Everyone whose job title is simply "presenter" (with the notable exception of Ant and Dec) Reality TV 'stars' - you lot are just so boring. Follow me round with cameras for a week and I swear you'd see more points of interest.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Anyone who has ever had their own daylight hours show on Radio 1 Mark Riley and Mark Radcliffe?
21st Century Fox Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 David Walliams- seriously what the hell is he? Married to her... what a strange universe we live in.
Kitchandro Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Miranda Hart - It's bad enough when people are unfunny, but when they're ridiculously popular it's even worse. Hate her with a passion. Is she that big ugly bird who's just appeared from obscurity in the last month and everyone makes out is hilarious (I'm guessing just because she's taller than most men)? For me it's Russell Brand and Ricky Gervais. Then again I'm not sure anyone gets Russell Brand.

For me it's Russell Brand and Ricky Gervais. Then again I'm not sure anyone gets Russell Brand. I didn't used to get or like Russell Brand (possibly helped by the fact that he tried to chat up a girlfriend of mine a few years ago) but since then I've mellowed to him. When he's not trying to mug and show off to a big audience he's actually an incredibly articulate and intelligent bloke, his articles in The Guardian are usually really well thought out and nicely written, I also remember an interview he did on Steve Jones' (Sex Pistols) radio show and he was genuinely funny and quite humble... basically he's better if you can't see or preferably hear him.

I had no idea about the Laurence Olivier award nomination. She is fit. I'll agree!
Kitchandro Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 She's been around for ages - where you been at? I've never heard her mentioned until I was watching East Midlands Today the other week and she was doing something about waxing blokes for charity. Since then I've seen her or heard her mentioned on TV most days. But anyway I'm pretty sure she'd never be famous if she looked normal.

Actually I think quite a lot of Russell Brand's exposure came from who he did.
