Vacamion Posted 19 April 2013 Posted 19 April 2013 I've said it before - why should he be named until he has been tried and convicted? If nothing comes of this (perfectly possible) the mud will stick because he has been named, his life and reputation will never be the same again.
jonthefox Posted 19 April 2013 Author Posted 19 April 2013 One woman made a complaint. I know how that feels.

The media have the ability to destroy anybody's reputation, as well as change someone's opinion of that person.

This is a fair question and one that SHOULD be applied to all people charged
flowwolf Posted 20 April 2013 Posted 20 April 2013 His ancestors were probably sent to Australia for doing the same thing.
purpleronnie Posted 20 April 2013 Posted 20 April 2013 Free press and its a good thing too, I understand what people are saying 'mud sticks' but if he's found innocent and it still affects his career and reputation that's more to do with other peoples hang up's than anything else.
Guest Bilo Posted 20 April 2013 Posted 20 April 2013 Apparently he was caught putting his digeridoo in A Minor. Don't shoot the messenger.
ithuriel Posted 21 April 2013 Posted 21 April 2013 Well, he is guilty until proven innocent after all
Guest Bilo Posted 21 April 2013 Posted 21 April 2013 Under media laws he's actually innocent until speculated guilty. Love Monkey Dust.
flowwolf Posted 22 April 2013 Posted 22 April 2013 What makes someone want to become a childrens entertainer if it's not for the perks of the job anyway ?
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 22 April 2013 Posted 22 April 2013 Out of interest, are you still sticking by Savile and wearing the t-shirt? Yes, and off to York for eight days, on Saturday, and it's coming with me. No one has complained to me about, but no doubt some people will find it in bad taste. Having met the guy, who was a friend of my partner, I really liked him, and he tried nothing on with her, at the nurses home at Stoke Manderville. If it was proved that he was guilty of any sexual offence, I would be saddened

marko Posted 24 April 2013 Posted 24 April 2013 Freddie Starr has just been rearrested for sexual offences.
flowwolf Posted 24 April 2013 Posted 24 April 2013 Freddie Starr has just been rearrested for sexual offences. Having sex with a fence is not illegal so long as the knot holes are old enough to knock out. I thank you M'Ludd.
johnny the fox Posted 29 August 2013 Posted 29 August 2013 looks bad for him. those charges were related to offences less than two years ago,, and 9 counts of indecent assault.
Larry_LCFC Posted 29 August 2013 Posted 29 August 2013 I find this quite sad and dissappointing. Always thought he was abit of a legend and a good, honest bloke. Although we should have guessed when he started singing about little boys playing with their toys
Guest MattP Posted 29 August 2013 Posted 29 August 2013 Looked the most obvious one of the lot, amazed he wasn't pulled in sooner.
leicsmac Posted 29 August 2013 Posted 29 August 2013 Good Gods, was there anyone involved in kids TV in the latter part of the 20th century that wasn't a nonce?
separator Posted 29 August 2013 Posted 29 August 2013 Making indecent images of children These pictures were taken only last year according to the BBC. Police must have them as evidence now, got him bang to rights it sounds like.
I am Rod Hull Posted 29 August 2013 Posted 29 August 2013 Good Gods, was there anyone involved in kids TV in the latter part of the 20th century that wasn't a nonce?
