purpleronnie Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 Derby showing what a danger they are, a team full of goals should always be taken seriously.
Guest shearfox Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 Derby showing what a danger they are, a team full of goals should always be taken seriously. Absolutely, I didn't expect them to be so dangerous, they look a real threat and McClaren has really turned them into promotion contenders. Look a far better side than Forest at the moment.
marko Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 I do think Blackpool's defence is helping them a bit, though.
Tielemans63 Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 Clough must be pissed off - he pretty much built that side and now McClaren is getting all the credit. I still think their bubble will burst soon.
StanSP Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 McClaren doesn't kick his players up the arse at HT. He uses umbrellas instead.
Unabomber Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 Not sure if Derby are making Clough look like an absolute toad or McClaren like the messiah.
LCFC FOX Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 He may have built it but he couldn't win with it. New tactic from a new man and they are winning
Bluearmy 316 Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 I hate to say it but derby were my dark horses when they appointed brolly man. Looking like they can challenge the top 2 for me
StanSP Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 I hope people also bear in mind that Blackpool are without 3 regulars because they got sent off vs Yeovil...
JonnyBoy Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 imagine how pissed forest would be if us and Derby went up. priceless
purpleronnie Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 You can only beat what's in front of you, and derby have beaten plenty of sides to be in the position they are now not just Blackpool.
Guest shearfox Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 I hope people also bear in mind that Blackpool are without 3 regulars because they got sent off vs Yeovil... 4-1 is pretty convincing... they look genuine challengers to me, I suppose it would be good to get some rivalry back with Derby after them being nowhere for a while and us just thumping them everytime.

To be fair, they are playing against a 10 men Blackpool, and have had two penalties.
TJB-fox Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 Anyone who thinks David Whelan is an idiot has no clue! Bar appointing Coyle, hes a very good chairman

Greatness_Since_1884 Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 Glad we've already played Derby at Pride Park pre-McClaren and got 3 points as well
Guest kristianity77 Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 5 sendings off in two games! I dont think I've ever seen a stat like that before!!!
kingfox Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 If Derby don't get into the Play-Offs I'd be very surprised.
Corky Posted 7 December 2013 Posted 7 December 2013 Example is set by the manager. He loses his discipline and then so do the players. The second red was utterly pointless, on a yellow and brings down a player well inside their half. Stupid.
