Hide Schmeichel

Our attempt to hide Knocky didn't end very well, the lad ended up hiding in his own tears.

Poor soul.

Personally I think it is in everyones interest for him to leave, been a great servant to the club and wish him all the best but he is above our standard and would be in our benefit to get him off the wage bill. I know this will sound strange to many but sometimes in football when the standard of players and wages are heavily mixed its not always good and can be frustrating for some players. Think he will make a terrific keeper in the Premiership and I'm sure Pearson, Walsh and Shakespear will find a suitable cheaper replacement.

If he is on over inflated wages by sven and we could get a good price for him then we could look for a replacement, but if his wages arent too high I'd defonately keep, can only get better really. (offers over 3M or keep imo)

That approach would also involve getting rid of Nugent, Konch and Beckford, Danns, Gallagher and wellens.

And we really don't know what the likes of King and Dyer ended up on during Sven's reign.

Not saying I don't agree with what your saying, just that if done properly the rebuild could be a pretty big job.

It's not losing him, it's getting a perfect replacement

Can see the theory behind the point but as we want promotion unless we get a suitable replacement of similar quality, then do all we can to keep him

Some people need to stop taking this thread so seriously and actually refer to the Hide Schlupp thread. Take your serious discussion elsewhere. I want to see expertly photo-shopped pictures of Kasper in various places!

Anyone failing to see the obvious? We have two naturally blond goalkeepers, one who is a lot better than the other. It may just be a case of carting Conrad Logan down to the plastic surgeons.

have we? **** off pearson hes too old!!

It's to save money by not having to replace all the existing Schmeichel merchandise when we sell Kasper.

And your basing Conrad being a lot worse on what exactly? Warm ups before matches? He's not being kept at the club to keep a seat on the bench warm. He's nowhere near as bad as people make out.
