It's not just a couple of nut jobs though that's the thing.

We have sat back and watched whilst Muslim extremists have slowly increased in numbers. As has been said we have been too scared to upset people to our own detriment. We need to start getting the law abiding decent Muslims to start acting against their people. How I don't know. That or we need to start at it's root. Eradicate the Muslim protests regarding our troops and wars. **** the human rights side of things and seriously kick the anti British ones who protest out of our country. Where I know nor care- all I know is it's a massive problem and between us all we are to a degree guilty of allowing it to happen on our streets.

Our country is a soft touch in some ways. Should the police have shot to kill those two on Wednesday? IMO yes. They knew perfectly well it'd be incredibly likely they would come through this alive and I imagine for extremists up and down the country it's a right old joke the very people they hate are now caring and paying to keep them alive.

I do think you talk sense here Moose...but what happens if we take the hard line? 

 

Exactly what the extremists on both sides want. If we make Muslims in general 'the enemy'. Fear and conflict will be bred on all sides, and racial segregation will become an even bigger problem than it is already.

 

I totally agree that a more focussed approach is needed on these crimes, but take them on individually and separately as the work of sick bastards. Which they are. Taking a hard line and generalising the Muslim population is exactly what the extreme elements want.

 

They want division. They want 'us and them'. Let's not give it to them.
