whoareyaaa Posted 23 May 2013 Posted 23 May 2013 Good player solid for most of the season and will no doubt be in the Utd back four in a short period of time. Good luck! Wouldn't be surprised to see him playing for England a few years down the line.
dylanlegend Posted 23 May 2013 Posted 23 May 2013 Overrated. Glad he's not coming back, defence was worse with him in the team. Don't understand all the bumming
LCFC FOX Posted 23 May 2013 Posted 23 May 2013 Awful against big players, was good for his first few appearance but next season we need an experienced head. Keane was our weak link IMO
CloudFox Posted 23 May 2013 Posted 23 May 2013 Thought he was a very good, ball-playing centre-back for a fair few games, but agree with others who said that he tailed off a bit at times. For such a young player, her was excellent, and I can only see better things for him in the future. I think the only way you could say he is over-rated is if you forget how young he is. All the best Keane! Will definitely give you a cheer should our paths cross again!
Father Ted Posted 23 May 2013 Posted 23 May 2013 I think he is overrated and may become the next Jonny Evans or Wes Brown, however it has been a privilege to have him at LCFC, Always gave 100% and scored two big goals for us (Leeds at home, Cardiff away). All the best to Keano!

All the best to Keano! Though both Brown and Evans would be more than good enough for our level too! I wonder if I watch the same games as some on here. He's not overrated at all, he's a bloody good defender for saying he's 19!

exmoor fox Posted 23 May 2013 Posted 23 May 2013 Overrated. Glad he's not coming back, defence was worse with him in the team. Don't understand all the bumming What an idiotic statement, the boy was only 19 when he signed for us and on occasions he was the best defender on the pitch, always seemed to Give 100 per cent and far better than some, otherwise alternatives like SSL would have been in the team. Sure he would have made occasional mistakes but he is young and still learning that's the nature of the championship and why he is available to play for us. Why don't fans support our players and management instead of moaning all the time.
Fox in the North Posted 23 May 2013 Posted 23 May 2013 Thanks very much Keane. All the best. It's been very refreshing to see someone so young give 100% in such a manner as a loanee. Keep improving and good luck!
Wymsey Posted 23 May 2013 Posted 23 May 2013 Perhaps harsh saying this but I think Hobbs slightly edges Keane in terms of overall quality.
funkyrobot Posted 24 May 2013 Posted 24 May 2013 Well done Keane. Brilliant player, massive future ahead of you. Hope to give you a clap in a couple of seasons at Man Utd awayThis!
Vardinhio Posted 24 May 2013 Posted 24 May 2013 Cheers Roy, you need improve quite a bit to have a chance at Utd so good luck.
Happy Fox Posted 24 May 2013 Posted 24 May 2013 http://www.lcfc.com/news/article/230513-keane-predicting-promotion-833364.aspx Michael Keane is tipping his former Leicester City team-mates to achieve promotion from the 2013/14 npower Championship after his successful loan spell from Manchester United last season. The 20-year-old defender has spoken fondly about his time at King Power Stadium – during which he scored his first professional goal, made his England Under-21s debut and helped City come within a whisker of reaching the play-off final at Wembley. And having seen first hand just what Nigel Pearson’s team is capable of, the Manchester United youngster admits he is looking forward to seeing how The Foxes fare once the season begins again on 3 August. “I think the Leicester City squad can definitely make it to the Premier League, we just need a bit more consistency,†Keane told LCFC.com. “There is definitely a lot of talent in the squad and a lot of young players who are getting experience every year and learning from mistakes and life in the Championship. “Next season I think everybody will come back stronger and hopefully get automatic [promotion] - they are certainly capable of winning the league too. “There are a lot of young players and a lot of experienced players too, so there’s a really good balance, and it’s the staff’s job to make sure everybody is mentally prepared for next season, which I’m sure they will be. “They will have a break this summer to get over [what happened at] Watford and I think they’ll be stronger next season for it. I do see them coming up automatically next season.â€
dannythefox Posted 24 May 2013 Posted 24 May 2013 Very well spoken and a top player, will play in the premiership one day! Hopefully we can get him in for next season Very well spoken and a top player, will play in the premiership one day! Hopefully we can get him in for next season
MC Prussian Posted 24 May 2013 Posted 24 May 2013 Highly professional behaviour and it speak volumes about his character and his attitude. Granted, he's young and prone to errors, but he's done a terrific job for us this season and will definitely go places. If I could, I'd take him back on loan in the blink of an eye.
whitlock Posted 24 May 2013 Posted 24 May 2013 Top lad for that. Will go far, seems a very level headed type of guy. Will play at the top and for England i'm sure in the future. Glad that we was a part in his progression.
Danizen Posted 24 May 2013 Posted 24 May 2013 Perhaps harsh saying this but I think Hobbs slightly edges Keane in terms of overall quality.I'd agree with this but no one can question his commitment. He puts some players to shame (and not just the ones who went out on loan).
