Fox92 Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 North London Derby, always produces a few goals. 5-2 for the third season, maybe?
Matt Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 Well it'd be plastic united fans otherwise, so we don't win either way Fair point, although I don't mind United I was more alluding to the fact they been so quite for so long but all piping up now.
Bert Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 Liverpool were head and shoulders, collectively and individually better than United and deserved the win today.
Guest shearfox Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 This premier league season has certainly started with a lack of goals, especially in the big games.
Matt Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 This premier league season has certainly started with a lack of goals, especially in the big games. Usually the way in the big games though isn't it? Sky hype them up and they normally turn out to be bores.
Guest shearfox Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 Usually the way in the big games though isn't it? Sky hype them up and they normally turn out to be bores. That is true but we had some crackers for the past two seasons, so I'm a little disappointed.
Jimothy Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 Lovely counter attacking goal from Arsenal. Dawson at fault though, playing Walcott onside, then losing Giroud.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 Id rather have Bale than any of the new signings who are playing now on the face of this 45mins
Kitchandro Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 That Liverpool Man U game was very poor. Neither team were any good.
purpleronnie Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 Usually the way in the big games though isn't it? Sky hype them up and they normally turn out to be bores. Not just been the big games though, could just be me but I find almost all the premiership games really dull.
Corky Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 Not just been the big games though, could just be me but I find almost all the premiership games really dull. A lot of it is to do with the mentality. How often do you hear "They'd be pleased with a point today"? We have too many teams who are happy to survive only and will do the barest minimum to. The problem is the income difference is so vast between the top two divisions, so managers are more cautious to hold what they have rather than risk to achieve more. In the big games the fear of losing points and ground to rivals often wins the day.
Guest shearfox Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 Id rather have Bale than any of the new signings who are playing now on the face of this 45mins They should be given more time than 45 minutes, they need to adjust to a new team, country and league.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 They should be given more time than 45 minutes, they need to adjust to a new team, country and league.Of course but perhaps they coukdve got their business done a bit sooner. This soldado bloke does nothing for me but a couple of my mates rate him highy. More inpressed by Townsend to be honest.
Fox92 Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 O f course but perhaps they coukdve got their business done a bit sooner. This soldado bloke does nothing for me but a couple of my mates rate him highy. More inpressed by Townsend to be honest. I went on the Spurs forum and some of their fans think he has the potential to be as good as Bale.
Matt Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 And the plastic scousers are everywhere on my facebook news feed... And just to add insult to injury, got plastic gooners all over it now. Go back to sleep both sets of fans.
Jordan Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 I'd never have thought I'd say this about this era of Arsenal, but their squad played with real grit and determination today. They defended their 1-0 lead as if their lives depended on it... Well, perhaps their spots in the line-up were at risk of a last-minute "panic buy" had they not gotten the result. If Wenger doesn't buy, this Arsenal team is likely still outside of the title challenge, even though this season may present the most wide-open title race in some time. However, if I were an Arsenal fan, I'd want everyone to rally around the squad after seeing how committed they were today. I know I'm about to sound like some stupid hack or TV "pundit" here, but money cannot buy will. PASSHUN.
Kitchandro Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 Two very poor quality matches. Again. Super Sunday is so shit.
Super_horns Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 Two very poor quality matches. Again. Super Sunday is so shit. Both away teams certainly lacked ideas baring in mind the quality they had on the pitch. I remember we dug out a few results like Liverpool got when Rodgers was with us so its not a surprise they've won 3 games 1-0.
foxfanazer Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 Great to see United not playing well and not winning, they usually manage to win when playing poorly. Hopefully that has changed
Guest Bilo Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 Classy stuff, Liverpool. Classy stuff. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2406618/Liverpool-issue-apology-clubs-official-Twitter-account-appeared-endorse-joke-Munich-disaster.html
