Guest ttfn Posted 25 August 2013 Posted 25 August 2013 Newcastle must have been really bad because City looked poor. Two goals from set pieces, not good enough. I thought City looked by far the better side today (as they should do). The front players were let down by some shit defending and goalkeeping.
Super_horns Posted 25 August 2013 Posted 25 August 2013 Joe Hart is worrying me from an England POV. Few mistakes creeping in.
Corky Posted 25 August 2013 Posted 25 August 2013 Great on MOTD last night to hear that Harry Redknapp has been to watch virtually all of the new signings in the Premier League this season at some point.

Corky Posted 25 August 2013 Posted 25 August 2013 Vincent Tan is a walking facepalm Football's first change kit willy puller.

Leicesterpool Posted 25 August 2013 Posted 25 August 2013 You heard it here first but how about this, Padrew unhappy with having his hands tied by Kinnear he decides to resign as manager of Newcastle. A few days later Holloway gets the sack from Crystal Palace and i think you know what comes next. Thoughts?

Danizen Posted 25 August 2013 Posted 25 August 2013 Pardew has got about 7 years left on his contract. He won't resign if there's a chance of him getting sacked.
Leicesterpool Posted 25 August 2013 Posted 25 August 2013 Are you just guessing? I can't see that happening... Yes I'm guessing
Guest Posted 25 August 2013 Posted 25 August 2013 Yes I'm guessing So when you say 'heard it here first' what you actually mean is 'heard it here for probably the only time ever because I'm clutching at straws'
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 25 August 2013 Posted 25 August 2013 Pardew has got about 7 years left on his contract. He won't resign if there's a chance of him getting sacked. Aren't there stipulations in that contract, though? There's no chance Ashley would've offered that length in charge straight off the bat.
Hollism Posted 26 August 2013 Posted 26 August 2013 Aren't there stipulations in that contract, though? There's no chance Ashley would've offered that length in charge straight off the bat. It was done when they were 4th in the Prem though more than halfway through the season. Never know

Jimothy Posted 26 August 2013 Posted 26 August 2013 SSN are saying this morning that Spurs are considering more than just Real's bid for Bale. They didn't say how many other bid there were or who made them though.
StanSP Posted 26 August 2013 Posted 26 August 2013 Stretching it out for some 'drama' on deadline day. Wouldn't be surprised if Jim White took a helicopter to Madrid just to present the 'breaking news' of Bale setting foot at the Bernabeu.

Wouldn't be surprised if Jim White took a helicopter to Madrid just to present the 'breaking news' of Bale setting foot at the Bernabeu. Did you see that he donated his yellow deadline day tie to the National Football Museum? ... Take a look at Bobby Moore's England caps, Gary Lineker's football boots and a presenter off of SSN's tie

EnderbyFox Posted 26 August 2013 Posted 26 August 2013 Surely it can't be United? Think Levy would be a fool to sell to another Premier League team. The rumour going round is that its 60M + Rooney, but i can't see 1) Rooney going to Tottenham 2)Spurs paying his wages Will have to wait and see though
The Year Of The Fox Posted 26 August 2013 Posted 26 August 2013 My mate is guessing at man city which woukdbt be that far fetched panicking after yesterday
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 26 August 2013 Posted 26 August 2013 It was done when they were 4th in the Prem though more than halfway through the season. Never know It's Mike Ashley. I think we all know.
