marko Posted 25 November 2013 Posted 25 November 2013 2-0 Long again. It's been a decent weekend of football on Sky which is a pleasant change from the normal 0-0 draws that are served up on "Super Sunday".
purpleronnie Posted 25 November 2013 Posted 25 November 2013 Is that the west brom fans taking the piss singing villa villa in squeaky voices...can't quite make it out....
Corky Posted 25 November 2013 Posted 25 November 2013 West Brom taking the piss on and off the pitch. Cracking atmosphere.
Corky Posted 25 November 2013 Posted 25 November 2013 Is that the west brom fans taking the piss singing villa villa in squeaky voices...can't quite make it out... . Yes.
purpleronnie Posted 25 November 2013 Posted 25 November 2013 Yes. thought so, west brom are really taking the piss, love it.
Leicesterpool Posted 25 November 2013 Posted 25 November 2013 2-2 yeah now that's what i'm talking about!
Stadt Posted 25 November 2013 Posted 25 November 2013 The games this weekend might be Murdoch angry as these games have been far too entertaining and he's failing to make football shit.
Corky Posted 25 November 2013 Posted 25 November 2013 Benteke was appalling tonight, could barely control the ball, offside or shooting against his own players.
Pride_Of_The_Midlands Posted 25 November 2013 Posted 25 November 2013 Sky seem to think that Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion are the only Midland clubs in the Premier League. They've obviously never heard of Stoke City...
ScouseFox Posted 25 November 2013 Posted 25 November 2013 We all try our best to try and remove Stoke from our minds whenever possible.
Happy Fox Posted 25 November 2013 Posted 25 November 2013 Sky seem to think that Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion are the only Midland clubs in the Premier League. They've obviously never heard of Stoke City... Because Stoke is a shithole.
Dan Posted 26 November 2013 Posted 26 November 2013 Yet another weekend where utterly abysmal refereeing regarding big decisions grabs the headlines. How Mirallas & Rooney have avoided reds yet Brown & Bolasie didn't absolutely staggers me. That Brown red card isn't even a foul. Truly appalling decision but no doubt the ref gets off with it completely scot-free whilst Sunderland play a fairly big game for them at a disadvantage. You do have to laugh at Poyet though after, how he doesn't mention a single word of their performance. Cannot stand managers who just blame everything but themselves, pathetic, excuse-making losers. Rooney should've been off for yet another vicious non-attempt at getting the ball. Hopefully the FA step in with a 3 game ban but I somehow doubt that. Mirallas' 'challenge' was almost hilarious it was that ridiculous. Bolasie shouldn't have gone either for me. Yellow card. Everton v Liverpool looked a phenomenal game. I wish I'd backed 3-3 - called it in a prediction league.
Bert Posted 26 November 2013 Posted 26 November 2013 Only a matter of time till Moyes is out imo, United cannot go on like this.No chance. Not if Fergie has anything to do with it.On another note, Keys said last night Friend has been left off the next two premiership fixtures.
Dan Posted 26 November 2013 Posted 26 November 2013 That's good to hear. Not the ideal action but something slightly progressive, although it'll take far more than that for me to be convinced they give a shit about the dwindling standard of refereeing.
Leicesterpool Posted 26 November 2013 Posted 26 November 2013 Sky seem to think that Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion are the only Midland clubs in the Premier League. They've obviously never heard of Stoke City... A few years ago i seem remember Stoke playing West Ham in the Fa Cup quarter final and i remember the itv pundits saying Stoke was in the North West!
Father Ted Posted 26 November 2013 Posted 26 November 2013 Wes Brown red card rightfully rescinded. However, Palace's appeal over Bolasie's red has been rejected. Pathetic from the FA attempting to try and maintain some respect for referees.
Dan Posted 27 November 2013 Posted 27 November 2013 So the result, despite assessing the evidence - Bolasie is banned for the next three games, Rooney & Mirallas will play them all. Absolutely crazy. The rules need a change in some ways because not a single person can say that's fair.
Bert Posted 27 November 2013 Posted 27 November 2013 Was Mirallas booked? I know Rooney was. There lies a big problem, because they've been dealt with no further action can be taken. Shambles. A chance of 2 reds being rescinded in a weekend? No chance. FA = Fackin Absymal.

A chance of 2 reds being rescinded in a weekend? No chance. FA = Fackin Absymal. Mirallas was booked after much deliberation. You also had the Liverpool physio saying in Dowd's ear (before any action was taken) 'that's a red card'. Dowd looked at him thinking 'who the hell are you?' . I thought this new retrospective rule took in to account even those players who had been booked? Further action should be taken otherwise this retrospective rule is a bit half-arsed.

Further action should be taken otherwise this retrospective rule is a bit half-arsed. That's what I thought as well, just assumed Rooney would be called up this week.
