EcclesallOwl Posted 26 June 2013 Posted 26 June 2013 I've heard we had scouts watching Burton towards the end of last season and ,TBH was hoping it was Maghoma we were looking at, though apparently it probably wasn't. The Burton fan who lives on our street reckons he has ability in bucketloads, but is inconsistent. Was on the fringes of the Spurs squad not that long ago, but never broke through. Could be a decent punt for you at a sensible fee! Hopefully! Free transfer as well mate.

I still find it strange that we are letting him go, fair enough he fell off in the last half of the season but so did the whole team. Before that I thought he was an integral part of our team. I'm guessing he must of nutted Nige or slept with his daughter.

Cant see Reading wanting to sell him though Don't know about Reading not wanting to sell, but the thing is, Le Fondre really proved himself in the PL last season (12 goals I think) and if he was to leave, I imagine more clubs would want him. If true though, he'd be a good signing for us, no doubt.
