Suso would be a fantastic loan signing and it'd give me serious faith that Pearson's trying to build on what we were playing in the first half of the season - then again he'd be a total idiot not to.

Shame it's from one of those ridiculous Twitter accounts. What's all this about them trying to come across all official? "UEFA Agent" lol

Apart from not really scoring enough goals, Kermorgant was a good target man and technically better than what we have now. In both our games v Charlton last year he got the better of Wes at their place and Keane at ours. One moment of madness does not make him a poor player. I remember the pre - season when Eriksson took over, he was brilliant in Sweden. A pity he didn't get a second chance. I just hope our current Frenchman doesn't get the same level of abuse.

Why would he get the same level of abuse? Has he ever tried to take the piss from the spot in a penalty shootout and then complained when he got a bit of stick for it?

If you judge players solely on their stats, then yes.

The best part of Kermorgant's game has never been his goals, it's his ability to hassle defenders, his aerial ability, his ability to create openings for his team mates. I'd like to see how many goals we'd have scored as a team if we'd had him in our side this season.

Steve Howard was a very important player for us a few seasons back, was it because he scored 30 goals a season? No, it was because of what he brought to the side.

Lets get something straight, Kermorgant never did anything for us. He is not Steve Howard, Howard contributed hugely to the team in the league one season and when we got in the play-offs. He didnt score a lot of goals (though he got more than one) but he did play his part in the team.

On the other hand, Kermogant just showed very small glimpses of potential. He did not actually do anything. He didn't score, he didnt set up goals, he never really impressed me in a Leicester shirt. There was the odd game where he won some flicks and got the ball down, and the occassional cheeky and unlucky effort on goal. That was it.

He's clearly got something about him but for us he did bugger all.

Just thought I'd bring your attention to the following:

#BringBackWes

:giggle: Not much atm but I can see it growing.

Let's get #get****edForest trending in return

I totally agree, but some fans try to look for a scapegoat (there were those having ago after his penalty miss and I hope that was just the heat of the moment). Just hope they realise that Knockeart was big enough to stand up and be counted, whereas other senior players stayed well clear..

I never said he was doing that consistently for us, just that he showed signs that he could be that kind of player for us, given more time and that judging a player whose game isn't really about goals on how many goals he's scored is ridiculous.

Like it or not, he's gone on to prove that he can be a very good Championship player at Charlton who are now seeing the benefits of giving him more time and he was a massive factor in Charlton doing us over twice. Infinitely better than the chumps we've got sitting on our bench at any rate.

'Uefa Agent'

Indeed.

I understand actual agents want stories in the press to benefit their clients and in turn, themselves, regardless of the validity of the story.

But i doubt they'd go on twitter. I get they aren't necessarily agents but just seems attention seeking especially when they'll often spout a random one for attention!

Trotter was our number 1 target in this position and was close to happening in Jan. Not heard much since on Trotter but I assume unless the usual suspects are cleared off the wage bill then money would obviously be a factor. Karl Henry would be the cheaper option but obviously a similar type of player. I personally think our midfield/team is crying out for someone like this and especially for his leadership skills. For everyone that's having a pop about disciplinary record....Steve Walsh was no saint!!!

Not saying that this is not true but he knows nothing about it and unfortunately says he hasnt heard anything about coming here this window.

I can't believe that people on twitter actually believe we are about to sign Le Fondre, they must be off their rocker.

Who's people? A couple of users with 'agent' in their name?

Based on last season Le Fondre should be snapped up by a Prem club surely.

I doubt it. Even though he scored a few he barely started a match in the end
