lcfc_amie Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Alan Nixon (who wrote the Jamie Ward story) has just told me on twitter that he may be a replacement for Marshall, as he's been offered around: Alan Nixon â€@reluctantnicko Protected account10m @Amielcfc Wonder if Marshall has to go first ... Alan Nixon â€@reluctantnicko Protected account8m @Amielcfc Been offered around - maybe there is a taker.
Leicester_Numan Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Especially when Spurs are prepared to pay 25 million!Makes you wonder how and why they come up with this kind of crap doesn't it?We couldn't blow £3m on anyone, that's pretty much the whole budget out of the window, even with the £1m from selling Beckford
Swarles Barkley Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 "@TransferLeaker: Christian Benteke will join Championship side Leicester City after a £3m bid was accepted by Aston Villa." Can't see us blowing that much on one player There have been some very weird and frankly stupid rumours being heard around. This is by far and away the worst one of the lot. Who comes up with this crapEdit: okay just went on his twitter account and its clearly a parody account. Nevermind!
Bayfox Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 I watched Jamie Ward play for Torquay a few times, he actually looked decent at that level and I wrote to the club at the time suggesting they take a look, a few moths later he moved on to chesterfield and obviously sheff utd and derby. Not kicked on as much as I thought he would, but if gally is going he'd be a more than decent replacement.

Tinman Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Jamie ward would be a fantastic signing for us, it would also more than confirm another season of mid table nothingness for the mighty sheep.
Happy Fox Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 What is so funny sheepshagger? you will always be in midtable mediocrity.

I didn't bother looking with this one, it was retweeted on to my timeline and I just thought what a complete load
LCFC FOX Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Transfers To Be â€@TransfersToBe7m Emile Heskey's agent has approached Leicester City about a return to England. Unaware on Leicester's response yet #lcfc Dunno how reliable this guy is but surely not
Simmo86 Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Let's be honest you will finish midtable. You'll start well, then go shit, then have a little recovery and then finish poorly. Got you down for 13th
Leicester_Numan Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Transfers To Be â€@TransfersToBe7m Emile Heskey's agent has approached Leicester City about a return to England. Unaware on Leicester's response yet #lcfc Dunno how reliable this guy is but surely not Just seen that myself and thought it's not very likely.I'd take it in a second if he was prepared to fit into the new wage structure
Happy Fox Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 I would take Heksey definitely but we have too many non scoring forwards at the club. But as a back up striker you cannot go to wrong I guess.
Mark_w Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Leicester Blue Army â€@Highriskarmy14h Millwall are close to signing Neil Danns and Martyn Waghorn #lcfc #mfc Expand New to this Twitter lark, still cant work out whats going on, and who is attention seeking and who has something to say, read this today though, anyone know if there is any truth or just more bull Anyone but Millwall please.
Leicester_Numan Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Same source as the Heskey one "@TransfersToBe: Millwall have offered Leicester City midfielder Neil Danns a permanent deal #millwall #lcfc"
Leicester_Numan Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 I would take Heksey definitely but we have too many non scoring forwards at the club. But as a back up striker you cannot go to wrong I guess. Massive experience at the very top and he is someone we can hit the ball to knowing it will stick, on the deck or in the air. Great at making space and bringing others into play as well
Woollett's Wellies Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Same source as the Heskey one "@TransfersToBe: Millwall have offered Leicester City midfielder Neil Danns a permanent deal #millwall #lcfc" Early in the close season several clubs seemed interested in Liam Trotter. I wonder if a deal is imminent there that would free up the funds for a bid for Danns? Otherwise I'd have thought they'd have difficulty agreeing both a fee and personal terms.
Babylon Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 We're asking for Ward for £750,000... Remember Forest rate Morgan at £1m and Hull rate Kasper at 1.25m... So I think 750k is a bit overpriced
ealingfox Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 1-1.5m and Danns would be a good bit of business for Trotter I reckon.
Albert Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Stupid to let Ben Marshall go if it happens. Wouldn't like to see him go as I think he has got bags of quality and lots of potential. I do know that he doesn't like Pearson and was very unhappy last season
teblin Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 1-1.5m and Danns would be a good bit of business for Trotter I reckon. Isn't Trotter out of contract?

I do know that he doesn't like Pearson and was very unhappy last season Neither would I. I'd love to know the grounds for his alleged dislike. I thought his form problems last season were supposed to be non-football related but I wouldn't pretend to be 'ITK' about it?
surrifox Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Isn't Trotter out of contract? yes he is - so that would make it very poor bit of business on a number of levels
ealingfox Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Isn't Trotter out of contract? Fair, lets sign him up then.
Woollett's Wellies Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Isn't Trotter out of contract? Is he? The only info I could find said that he was still under contract at Millwall until June 2014.
