Gallagher is better than Knockaert tbf

i'd take Gallagher over Ronaldo

i'd take Steve Howard over Pele

i'd take Steve Guppy over Maradona

i'd take Walshy over Puyol

i'd take Hayley Gallacher right in the back doors

I agree at the moment he is a better player than Knockaert, for one theres no way he would of missed THAT penalty and 2nd Gallys a team player whereas Knockaert isnt.  But Knockaert is still young and got time to learn.

Just because Gally is better at penalty's doesn't make him a better player you fool

Well I think we all know that players should be judged on the quality of their penalties. There's no doubt in my mind that Gallagher is the best player in the world right now.

I don't think Gallagher deserves half the criticism he gets from some he's one of those players that on his day is unplayable but that only happens a few times a season and the rest of the time he's a passenger.

Personally I think last season he could have made a bigger impact in games than the likes of Kane, Vardy, Lindgard did at times.

However...

He bottles out of 50/50's

Is obviously on a very good wage

and lives nearly 3hrs away

It should have been conditional that he moved closer to the club, spending 5-6hrs on the road every day is hardly conducive to peak performance and imo shows a lack of commitment.

Very much agree. It has become popular to slate him, almost for anything at times, but he has struggled for consistency (though in fairness he isn't a winger and being put out there is a managerial fault).

Needs to go because he isn't going to offer anymore after four years and the wages would be better spent elsewhere.

Gallagher wouldn't have had the strength or pace to beat the defender so it doesn't matter.

Knockaert won the penalty in the first place, something Gallagher would have never done as he hasn't the pace to go past a defender (nor would he have been up with play to knock the winner in against Forest). Whilst Gallagher may well have scored the penalty, he could also have missed it. You can't compare one player against another on their ability to score a penalty and to suggest Gallagher is a better team player is laughable - it's like we're playing against an extra man with his pathetic defending. I asked Gallagher once if he understood tackling was part of football and he replied, somewhat smugly, 'not when you've got my talent, it isn't'

Hey less of the fool please its just my opinion as I think Gallagher gets harsh flak at times im just saying that at them moment Knockaert has a lot to improve before he gets to be a class player whereas Gally is a better player AT THE MOMEMT imo. When you say won the penalty you mean dive when was the last time you saw Gally take a dive??.  But I do agree that he has to move on as he would benefit from a change of scenery and who cares if he cant tackle that's not his game.

Dive or not, Gally just wouldn't be in that position to get the chance of a penalty. Secondly, Knockeart gets stuck in, maybe reckless at times, you can't tell me that you feel Gally offers anything defensively. He has had some wonderful moments at Leicester, but he certainly isn't a team player, he goes missing too often and doesn't create enough from open play for a supposedly gifted footballer.

Gally is nothing more than a bog standard, average footballer on crazy wages. Very lucky man...
