Not going as far as Cardiff and the lucky red or anything. Gold has a deeper meaning to many Thais than just being a precious metal made for the making of coins, rings, necklaces, bracelets and other jewelry. Thailand's former name was Siam and this means gold in Sanskrit. The Chinese called the country as Jin Lin, which means "peninsula of gold". Gold is also often mentioned in important Thai Buddhist literature, and Buddha is described as having a "skin of gold". Gold is also often used in the making of Buddha statues and other religious objects and artifacts.
Jaspa Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Good, were going for Gold then A few teams recently have had Gold trimming their strip, its usually for a significant anniversary or winning a Cup. Swansea did it last year to good effect and Chelsea did it after winning the Champions League (Although they had already released it before they won it [unless Im missing something]) I quite like the look of Blue and Gold anyway, I like the gills and the proposed kits too, its only really the fake white undershirt that puts me off

Jace Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Tbh dull greys and golds and yellow and lime green if its fluorescent are very similar colours so I think you are both talking about the same design, doesn't ricey get to see the computer generated images? Maybe they look slightly different colour in the flesh?

Ricey Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Ricey says it's darkish gold and yellow though! The designs I've seen are definitely dark gold with bright yellow trim. I can see how it could be seen as grey and lime green in the flesh though, but according to the design it's gold and yellow.
