Fox42 Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 Based on the Rangers kit design(Shorts & Socks). Me gusta
GingerrrFox Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 In a crowd of people? How hard is it to spot 11 players on a pitch of 22, even more so when 11 other players are wearing a different colour? You say that but think about the stadium as a whole, the fans are a jumble of colours, all of the different colours and scenery every where. On a night game in the winter under floodlights. It's a terrible choice.
Jace Posted 28 June 2013 Posted 28 June 2013 The bolder colours are easier to pick out I think, Schmeichels blue top is much easier to spot in this than the grey Man Utd and white shorts
fleckneymike Posted 28 June 2013 Posted 28 June 2013 The bolder colours are easier to pick out I think, Schmeichels blue top is much easier to spot in this than the grey Man Utd and white shorts I think we'd all agree the Southampton kit is actually harder to spot owing to the fact half the crowd is wearing it too.

Considering you have home and away fans split anyway, you don't need to look hard where fans are. And with fans being a jumble of colours, must you really know who is wearing a grey football shirt and who isn't?
NGoloMode Posted 28 June 2013 Posted 28 June 2013 I really hope there is a late swap to the Watford template.

My point was have you ever tried to pick out the colour grey in a jumble of colours? It's hard.
StanSP Posted 28 June 2013 Posted 28 June 2013 You wouldn't. My point was have you ever tried to pick out the colour grey in a jumble of colours? It's hard. Yeah but from a football kit point of view, why would you need to? I'm not sure Top & co, when discussing the kit, have 'can you spot it in a jumble of colours' as top of the list of questions . It is a dull colour; I personally don't like greys. But I'm not too fussed about not seeing it in a crowd of people.
Fox in the North Posted 28 June 2013 Posted 28 June 2013 The home that ash has come up with is fine, it hardly compares to some of the dross we've been given before.

People are trying to explain that grey is a terrible choice for a sports teams kit, because the players find it difficult to see each other wearing grey, compared to other colours. It's a bad choice because it affects performances on the pitch. You need to be able to quickly pick out your teammates, and grey kits don't help at all.
William Boast Posted 29 June 2013 Posted 29 June 2013 I don't understand the excitement. It will be blue, of poor quality, far from memorable and the guys wearing it will play like they've never even met each other before.

William Boast Posted 29 June 2013 Posted 29 June 2013 I'm not here to do the club's marketing for them. The definition of insanity is doing the same things again and again and expecting different results. In short, anyone expecting anything other than extremely poor tactics, man management, lack of a plan B from this season, is kidding themselves. I find its best to be realistic. I can tell you its all going to be great if you want... ?
Guest Posted 29 June 2013 Posted 29 June 2013 I'm not here to do the club's marketing for them. Thank fvck!
William Boast Posted 29 June 2013 Posted 29 June 2013 Thank fvck! Don't worry - some club official, fresh out of marketing school, in a cheap, ill fitting suit and wearing too much nasty aftershave will be along soon to reassure you everything is fine and its going to be a great season. Christ, 14,000 season tickets have been sold. 14,000!!!! I'd love the details of these people, they'd buy anything.
Mack Posted 29 June 2013 Posted 29 June 2013 Lets not beat around the bush, it's shit. And we, like so many other club's fans, are being palmed off with a generic template at £50 a pop knocked out for pennies in some Chinese sweat shop. Wait until it's a tenner next May if you are that bothered.

Just consider it an extra tax on the stupid, only its not going to the government, its keeping kiddie workers in Chinese sweatshops in their 22 hour a day jobs.

Meanwhile, somewhere in Coventry a 12 fingered tosser tries to erase all memory of the 100 foot deep shit your in by posting on our forum. Please **** off
William Boast Posted 29 June 2013 Posted 29 June 2013 Do I need to explain the your/you're thing again?
AyewJoking Posted 30 June 2013 Posted 30 June 2013 Amazing. Who knew gullibility was recyclable. who knew gullibility was a word?
21st Century Fox Posted 30 June 2013 Posted 30 June 2013 who knew gullibility was a word? Either I'm missing a joke or every dictionary knew. http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/gullibility http://oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/gullibility
