Ashley Posted 26 June 2013 Posted 26 June 2013 Ash, can you do the away kit? Of course, need to know what template it is though
Finnegan Posted 26 June 2013 Posted 26 June 2013 Judging by the Portsmouth comment I assume it's the darker gold.
Yojoe36 Posted 26 June 2013 Posted 26 June 2013 Looks fvcking horrible. Blocks of gold on the home kit? Why? Just why? I'm assuming we've got blue shorts, as white shorts would make it look like a cluster fvck.
Ashley Posted 26 June 2013 Posted 26 June 2013 That's our home kit then, edited it more so logos are on the shoulders, King Power logo is higher. I will have a go at the away kit if I know the template.

A bit of yellow trim as a 3rd colour is ok but having that amount of gold on is criminal. That's besides the complaints I have with the template, ie the shocking looking undershirt with the lines and the badge being on the fvcking shoulder.
Finnegan Posted 26 June 2013 Posted 26 June 2013 Wants kits to be a bit different, cries when they're a bit different.

Disagree That would be one of the nicer kits we've had in recent times, with the assumption that the shorts will be blue, I don't think it will look too great with white shorts. I've always hated the home shirts that have had the yellow trims on, I hate yellow as a colour. The gold makes it look a little more classy. That would look gash if the gold was white, and way too similar to kits we've had in the last few years. I like that it's a little different to what we're used, and although I'm disappointed that it's the same template as just about every other puma made kit (I've got to admit I was dreading what it could look like after Cardiff's attempt) It doesn't look bad at all. We'll see some official photos soon enough, it still might look completely different, but based on Ash's mock up I'd be quite happy of it looked like that
Larry_LCFC Posted 26 June 2013 Posted 26 June 2013 The new kit has just been leaked on twitter. Apparently following feedback from Big Wes complaining it was cold playing in Winter, we've ditched the normal kit. Next season, I can now reveal, we'll be playing in........ This Awesome dont you think?
Tielemans63 Posted 26 June 2013 Posted 26 June 2013 There's three things you can rely on in life: death, taxes and LCFC having a shit blue shirt.
GorlestonFox Posted 26 June 2013 Author Posted 26 June 2013 There's three things you can rely on in life: death, taxes and LCFC having a shit blue shirt. That's what Cardiff fans used to say about "their" club

Instead it just looks gash because gold trim on our home shirts is just wrong. Not sure why you prefer it to yellow either, yellow's quite an attractive, bright colour, this type of gold is just dull and rusty looking. I'm all for having something a bit different but changing the colour scheme is not the right way to do it. A nice, unique design would have been.
Fox42 Posted 26 June 2013 Posted 26 June 2013 Updated kits... Kit on the right, logos should be on the shoulders like kit on the left my bad* they're nice, but I'd have the puma logo, the sleeve trims and the side tramlines white, but keep the major section of the sides and the part of the undershirt gold/yellow and its swimmer the blues of the logo is bugging me in all of the templates in the thread so far it doesn't look like the logos match. Could you do a mock up with the badge completely white and one completely gold (outlines only) I think it'll suit our kits more.

I'm all for having something a bit different but changing the colour scheme is not the right way to do it. A nice, unique design would have been. Gold is nicer than yellow. Yellow looks tacky and cheap, every single yellow shirt we've ever had looks completely horrible. Yellow trims on our home shirts make them looks cheaper. What about when we've had red trims on our home shirts? Or a green away shirt with yellow pin stripes? My first memory of us introducing yellow into our kits (93-94ish?) was it actually being classed as gold and not yellow, so making our colours Blue, White and Gold. That shade of gold was awful and orange tinted, and over time has just turned into yellow. You talk like they are playing around with the history of the club, when in fact they are just using different shades of colours. The shirt is blue, had white and gold in it, they're hardly playing around with colour schemes and having us play in sky blue with pink stripes.
LCFC FOX Posted 26 June 2013 Posted 26 June 2013 How could you possibly know the template and colours without seeing it?

Green & Yellow are the colours of the county I believe.

We've had some lovely yellow shirts. Including the 'gold' yellow ones from the 90s. Is gold a different shade of white now? I said historically white has been the secondary colour, and always should be. At least when we had yellow trim it was the 3rd colour, or joint 2nd at most.

Jace Posted 26 June 2013 Posted 26 June 2013 I don't mind the gold much reminds me of the 94-96 1 when I started watching Leicester will be optimistic until we see it properly

LCFC FOX Posted 26 June 2013 Posted 26 June 2013 Have you read the whole thread through? Yes just looks like someone guessing and people making designs from it?
gazfox9 Posted 26 June 2013 Posted 26 June 2013 If, as expected, the shirt looks like Ashley's, how can anyone be disappointed with that? Yes, maybe its not what you were hoping for. But having seen the total mess Puma have made of Cardiff's strip, I'm quite relieved tbh.
