StanSP Posted 26 June 2013 Posted 26 June 2013 Was the Fosse gold shirt the one where we had LG as sponsor? As for this reported home kit, I like it. It's smart, nothing complicated about it. It's neat and classy to an extent. I've got no qualms with it.

Albert Posted 26 June 2013 Posted 26 June 2013 http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/media/images/40889000/jpg/_40889903_dion_dublin.jpg Personal opinion but I thought that was a horrible kit....main reason being I've got Alan Mayburys face etched into my memory wearing it when we played Blackburn away in the cup for some bizarre reason!! If the home kits anything like the one Ash knocked up I would be very happy
Albert Posted 26 June 2013 Posted 26 June 2013 Would prefer the puma logo in white and also the thin gold piping in white if I was being a minor detail pervert
kyleolly Posted 26 June 2013 Posted 26 June 2013 http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/media/images/40889000/jpg/_40889903_dion_dublin.jpgThe fosse gold shirt was the highest selling away kit at the time so not suprised the Thais want to replicate it!
Jace Posted 26 June 2013 Posted 26 June 2013 Lets not forget it may look more gold than white as a secondary colour ATM but I think will look much better when shown with white shorts
PAULCFC Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 Guess "bespoke" is what puma have told a few clubs then...allright i suppose, but think i'll still stick to the old joma no sponser!
CKB Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 So the rumours about a collar were wrong aswell! We get the fake undershirt template then and i have to be honest, blue and gold works in my opinion... If it's similar to what Ashley mocked up then it COULD look pretty nice in the flesh, i'm hoping the badge and Puma logo won't be so high up but with most English teams that have this template it is so i guess i shouldn't expect any differentI'm also very interested to see what the away kit will look like and what template that is....
Ricey Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 The thing is, we don't really have a deal with Puma. We have a deal with Genesis, who license the Puma logo and designs. Genesis are the ones manufacturing the kits. Hence why when you look at the top clubs Puma actually supply (Rangers, Dortmund, Newcastle etc) they have a nice fitting kit, no silly long sleeves, badges on the chest (not the f-ing shoulders), extra detail and a better quality overall. Whereas ourselves and all other Genesis clubs have what looks like a counterfeit version of a Puma kit. Rangers new kits, the home one being the 'same' template as ours:
KFS Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 The sleeves are the right length The sleeves on the black shirt are the sleeves that I like, no doubt we'll get some sleeves that touch your elbows.
HEGGSY Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 Yeah, they're what I prefer to, like Ricey said though, our kids are made by Genesis, meaning we'll get an ill fitting kit, just like this Chesterfield effort You compare Pumas manufacturing to Genesis, it's abysmal
Finnegan Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 But that lad in a Chesterfield shirt, just like the Cardiff one, could comfortably be wearing a smaller size. The sleeves on my City shirt this year is fine despite a lot of moaning.

I know what you're saying. My city shirt this year though, had the sleeve problem, but I suppose it depends on how big you are, from what I can see the lad in the Rangers black shirt is considerably bigger than the Chesterfield player, hence, maybe, the tighter fit.
Merging Cultures Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 That's our home kit then, edited it more so logos are on the shoulders, King Power logo is higher. I will have a go at the away kit if I know the template. Really like this. If it does look like this I'll buy one. And I've not bought one for years.
GingerrrFox Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 You boys need to get some bigger guns. My shirt sticks like an absolute dream to the arms.
norfolk-fox Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 The rangers away white kit looks nice with maybe black and gold on it instead of navy.
EnderbyFox Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 You boys need to get some bigger guns. My shirt sticks like an absolute dream to the arms. Doesn't count if you're wearing an extra small mate
Jace Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 the long sleeves are ideal for me being 6'2 fit much better than those stumpy shaped Rangers sleeves
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 Don't like it, don't buy it, stop moaning, fook off. Also, regardless of whether is made by Mr Puma, Phil Collins or come other ****. Do people really expect every kit to be different, the costs involved in doing that simply make it impossible. I thank you.

It all makes sense now why all the lower league teams have the same template with terrible fit. Is it just me that feels a little be P****d off by this? Wernt we told we had a deal with Puma? In actual fact its more like getting a fake designer tshirt off Skegy market!
LCFC FOX Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 There is nothing wrong with Skegvagas top quality shops!

I did just say to myself i probally over looked anything other than Puma...Still a let down though. Any possiblity of a change of manufacturer after the next season or 2? or are we in with them for the long haul?
