Guesty Posted 1 August 2013 Posted 1 August 2013 Yeah we were 4th. An interview with Pearson in his office at the training ground. He seemed in good spirits (probably because Stringer wasn't interviewing him) but didn't reveal anything earth-shattering; but there isn't really anything to reveal. And none of the interviews on 92 live are really any good. Just seems like some waste of time PR exercise to go round every club which looks good in theory but you don't really learn anything (unless you wanna hear from some League 2 kit-man) and only see your own club for a couple of mins.

I thought he came across quite well, explained how they work, what they do. Nothing earth shattering. Stated we are basically done on the transfer front because we need to come into line with FFP.

Jim White was excitedly screaming "WE'RE HERE IN WIGAN" before chatting to that charming, lovely old football man Dave Whelan (shy and retiring too), who was prompted to say "This is a great day" when Jim asked him about this exciting, ground breaking achievement. Oh, and you knew how good Wigan's pitch was, as Jim and Dave mentioned several times over.
