isaidno Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 Were tickets a fiver ? Weren't we away? We played Lincoln . Think tickets were £5 for the first 2000 sold . Was a boring 0-0 , with Frank Sinclair missing in the penalty shoot out for Lincoln
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 We played Lincoln . Think tickets were £5 for the first 2000 sold . Was a boring 0-0 , with Frank Sinclair missing in the penalty shoot out for Lincoln Bruno Berner's debut if memory serves. Exeter took 486 tonight, considering the trip and the competition, fair bloody play. Not many other league two clubs are going to do similar.
Dan Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 What an absolute mess. Seven thousand? What is going on? I wasn't expecting them to come close to maintaining what they got against Gillingham, but that is an absolute joke. Are they still boycotting? If so, then why was there such a high crowd against Gillingham? I seriously couldn't say where they're going. It's ridiculous.
Jace Posted 9 October 2014 Posted 9 October 2014 Wasps have taken over the Ricoh!??!? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/rugbyunion/article-2785566/London-Wasps-tell-furious-fans-Coventry-bust-agreeing-19-million-Ricoh-Arena.html
Matt Posted 9 October 2014 Posted 9 October 2014 I've always posed the question and never had an answer - Why did Cov never build a train station by the Ricoh? The rail lines are there, and it would probably bring more fans to watch Cov, as one of the reasons or excuse (A poor reason and excuse, but one nonetheless) is the fact the stadium is well out of the city centre and lack of transport links (Especially if you fancy a drink). http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/work-new-coventry-railway-station-7888550 Perhaps abit too late now Oh well looks like London Wasps have got the idea. Still can't get my head around that, their fans must be up in arms aswell tbh?
sylofox Posted 9 October 2014 Posted 9 October 2014 They can play at Leamington next season. I am sure there ground holds 1k lol
johnny the fox Posted 11 October 2014 Posted 11 October 2014 Cov lose 2-1 to bottom of the table crewe..they are plumbing new depths of shitghtness.. turning it into an art form.

johnny the fox Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Yep as mentioned on the other thread, I seen it. There starting to turn on there gaffer now. its the club that keeps on giving.,.
jonthefox Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 11 888 today. Things are on the up. Shame they lost.
Guest Bilo Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 11 888 today. Things are on the up. Shame they lost. 4000 Bristol City fans apparently. Not sure where this big following has come from in terms of Brizzle, their away following was always pitiful in the Championship.
Sir Fynwy Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 The rumour around Coventry is that the owners are massively under reporting gates as part of their stand off with the stadium company, I don't see how that could help them though, especially since WASPS have bought the shares in the Stadium that Cov wanted.
katieakita Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 4000 Bristol City fans apparently. Not sure where this big following has come from in terms of Brizzle, their away following was always pitiful in the Championship. took 4000 as a mark of respect to one of their fans who died of cancer.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 21 October 2014 Posted 21 October 2014 In the relegation zone as things stand...
Leicesterpool Posted 21 October 2014 Posted 21 October 2014 This may very well be Pressley's last game in charge there.
johnny the fox Posted 21 October 2014 Posted 21 October 2014 http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/50326-Oldham-Match-Thread/page40 some cov fans would like lee clarke..I just love the sky blues , never fail to cheer me up. plumbing newer depths of shightness.. come on you sky blues!
johnny the fox Posted 21 October 2014 Posted 21 October 2014 Lee Clarke would do well there. yip.. finish the job and get them out of league 1.. ha ha..
katieakita Posted 21 October 2014 Posted 21 October 2014 Think Leicestershire County Cricket club have just tweeted Cov are shite
johnny the fox Posted 21 October 2014 Posted 21 October 2014 Think Leicestershire County Cricket club have just tweeted Cov are shite TBF they are surprising me.. even I thought they were not capable of this level of ineptitude.. got to admire it.
chrishlcfc Posted 21 October 2014 Posted 21 October 2014 http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/50326-Oldham-Match-Thread/page40 some cov fans would like lee clarke..I just love the sky blues , never fail to cheer me up. plumbing newer depths of shightness.. come on you sky blues! Read through some of the comments on there and someone said they have recently given Pressley a 4 year contract, they haven't got any money so there's no chance they will be able to get rid of him.
davieG Posted 22 October 2014 Posted 22 October 2014 Cov were better off playing at Northampton where they had a siege mentality now they're just a small club playing in a big empty stadium with even less hope of a future and still hated by their own fans
Leicesterpool Posted 22 October 2014 Posted 22 October 2014 Cov were better off playing at Northampton where they had a siege mentality now they're just a small club playing in a big empty stadium with even less hope of a future and still hated by their own fans I was speaking to one of my cov fan mates, even he said the atmosphere at the moment was better at Sixfields even though there was only over 1,000 there they made noise than they do now. Every time I visit Cov it just doesn't feel like a footballing city. At the moment it feels like Cov have already gone bust and this like the new reformed club.
Guest Bilo Posted 22 October 2014 Posted 22 October 2014 Lee Clarke would do well there. Yeah, doesn't seem such a bad appointment. He did well with Huddersfield in this division and I don't think anybody could have succeeded at Brum. Whether he'd want to go there is another matter though, thankless task to say the least.
Banks Posted 23 October 2014 Posted 23 October 2014 Would be brilliant if they join Portsmouth in League 2, both vile clubs.
