StanSP Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 If Hull City Tigers City Association Football Club FC sign another striker before transfer window. Loan or permanent, not sure. But let the rumours begin that he'll make a return to us...
The Doctor Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 He won't - remember, Hull won't do business with Leicester, but trying to make signings from us doesn't count as business
pSinatra Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 Forest are happy to over the odds for strikers that can't score. How much would they pay for someone who can? £3 million?
SystonFox Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 I'd take fryatt back. If we don't I guarantee he will score against us. Always liked him. Top quality finisher
Fox92 Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 Can finish at this level. Got 15 for Hull the other year. I do like Fryatt but I could only see him being back up. I wouldn't want him in the team at the expense of Nugent.
Leicesterpool Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 The idea of having the choice of Nugent, Vardy, Wood, Fryatt & possibly Schlupp sounds mouthwatering. If we at to offload to someone to make room for Fryatt, i would say sadly is maybe sending young Tom Hopper on loan again and maybe also Konchesky.

Leicesterpool Logic, that is.
Master Fox Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 . Get Hume back too. Why not put the entire worst team in our history back together?
The Year Of The Fox Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 Sell a left-back to make room for a striker? Leicesterpool Logic, that is. But schlupp can play there too. Not that I'd want him to over konchesky . Get Hume back too. Why not put the entire worst team in our history back together? What one of the strikers who got us to a playoff semi?
Leicesterpool Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 Sell a left-back to make room for a striker? Leicesterpool Logic, that is. but do we need more than two left backs!? plus both Liam Moore and Sean St Ledger can play in that position and schlupp?
StanSP Posted 11 August 2013 Author Posted 11 August 2013 but do we need more than two left backs!? plus both Liam Moore and Sean St Ledger can play in that position and schlupp? Liam Moore and St Ledger are weak in that position. If Zoum/Konch were available to play and I see Moore or SSL playing there I'd be livid. It'd be most delusional to play them there. And more than 2 LBs? How about we keep Konchesky and Zoum as our natural left-backs and let Schlupp play in his natural position? Therefore we stick with 2 left-backs and don't need to loan out or sell Konchesky.
bovril Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 This is the Matt Fryatt who scored 24 goals in 4 and a half championship seasons with us?
ScouseFox Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 This is the Matt Fryatt who scored 24 goals in 4 and a half championship seasons with us? Most of them were in one season when he looked like he knew how to play football. I'd take that Fryatt any day. Not the fat on the wing useless piece of shit one goal in 3,000 games Fryatt we had for a bit tho. He was shit.

I watched the 09/10 season review the other day, and Fryatt and Waggy at times were tearing defences new arseholes, it was frightening how good they looked.

I remember that season well and a highlights package glossed over some very frustrating performances, especially from Fryatt. Waghorn on the other hand got better and better as the season went on and when Fryatt did his jaw he stepped up and was our main man.
Ozwin Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 I still remember the day he nigh on did a Maradona, would have been the best goal I've seen down the KP. I'd still have him. Got a place in LCFC hearts that boy.

Ric Flair Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Newcastle at home? Fluffed his shot? Was a great run. Down to ten men as well weren't we? Wellens sent off for some dog muck challenge
AdamN Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Newcastle at home? Fluffed his shot? Was a great run. Was blocked on the line-ish by Van Aanholt I believe. Shame, as it would have been a fantastic goal!
