whoareyaaa Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 #lcfc team to play #lufc: Schmeichel; Moore, Morgan ©, Whitbread; De Laet, Drinkwater, James, King, Konchesky; Vardy, Nugent. #lcfc subs: Dyer, Waghorn, Schlupp, Danns, Knockaert, Logan, Wood.
whoareyaaa Posted 11 August 2013 Author Posted 11 August 2013 Updated. 3-5-2 same team as Boro apart from Nuge in for Wood and obviously Moore in for the injured Whitebread. Not a single defender on the bench, no Bagayago or Migquel.
davieG Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 Dyer, Waghorn, Schlupp, Danns, Knockaert, Logan, Wood.
Aus Fox Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 Not a single defensive player amongst the subs lets hope for no injuries back there.
Finnegan Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 Ugh, no Knockaert again? I know it's early but why do I get the strong feeling this season's going to be immensely frustrating?
Aus Fox Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 Ugh, no Knockaert again? I know it's early but why do I get the strong feeling this season's going to be immensely frustrating? Same midfield that won last week, seems fair. On the bench today think we will see him if things arnt going well
dedlock Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 Ugh, no Knockaert again? I know it's early but why do I get the strong feeling this season's going to be immensely frustrating? Patience. We have a 46+ game season.
Finnegan Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 Same midfield that won last week, seems fair. On the bench today think we will see him if things arnt going well Meh, wasn't at the cup game but by all counts it sounds like he changed the game. If you're going to play a three man midfield, surely one of the three needs to be your creative, attacking presence? I like all three of those lads in midfield, don't get me wrong, but together? It's just a little defensive. People talk about Andy King being "allowed to get forward" but even at his best for us he's never been an attacking midfielder. He makes those runs from deep, that's why they're so effective.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 Updated. 3-5-2 same team as Boro apart from Nuge in for Wood and obviously Moore in for the injured Whitebread. Not a single defender on the bench, no Bagayago or Migquel. Very strange bench? Time will tell. In big Nige we trust
AjcW Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 Anyone else confused with the lineup?? Can we start this thread again or am I missing something??
lgfualol Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 No defenders, Leeds are just going to ****ing destroy our back 3 and we have no subs haha. What is going on. Poor Tony.
ozleicester Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 tough game, big one for the 2nd game of the season, ive got Leeds a good chance for playoffs. Hoping for a sneak 1-0 will do
Guest Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 Updated. 3-5-2 same team as Boro apart from Nuge in for Wood and obviously Moore in for the injured Whitebread. Not a single defender on the bench, no Bagayago or Migquel. you've got Whitbread in and not SSL. Is that right?
OLD norfox Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 Looks like we really are going for 3 points today. No defenders on the bench and a 3-4-1-2 formation
NewquayFox Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 Come on Leicester Come on Leicester Come on Leicester Come on Leicester
LanguedocFox Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 Very strange. No-one has mentioned that Drinkwater and Vardy are playing. Pearson out. Oh, it's not the Middlesbrough v City pre-match thread....
Swarles Barkley Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 Like the team except konchesky left wing back. We are at home so rather we take the game to the opposition. In my opinion, schlupp would be perfectly suited at LWB
Tielemans63 Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 Why would you bother with Waggy ahead of a defensive option on the bench? Strange. Decent starting 11 although I thought we might go 4-4-2 at home and be bit more positive. Not knocking the 5-3-2 I just thought that might be our 'away day' formation.
XLM Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 If Whitbread gets injured, and lets be honest he probably will, at least we have schlupp to come on in his place
