MC Prussian Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 Unimaginative and quite a drab to watch. Poor game. Little to no incentive to attack and little to no cohesion between our midfield and attack. Knockaert needs to come on in the second half, there's just no creativity in midfield.

AKCJ Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 Neither side offer anything going forward in their current formations. Go back to 4-4-2. Take Whitbread and James off, bring Knockaert and Dyer on. Lets get some creativity ffs.
LTID Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 3 at the back should be more attacking but, Pearson actually plays it as 5 defenders so we get overrun in midfield. Whitbread looks 2 yards off the pace and King can't cross the ball without hitting the first defender. Must improve in the second if we're going to win this.

Area88 Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 It takes a while to adapt to a system. At least defensively we have been strong. We have to give the team time to adapt. As the commentators said, all the promoted teams last season used this system.
